We are now in the Biblical Year 5783 (2022-2023) and the beginning of the 1^st year of the NEW Shemitah Cycle (of 7X7 years). Many Christians have asked… “are we really in a JUBILEE Year as well?” Yes! What’s the Jubilee (Yovel) all about if we look to the potential of this year? Let’s first see what the Bible says in the original command by God; “You are to count seven Shabbats of years, seven times seven years, that is, forty-nine years. Then, on the tenth day of the seventh month, on (Day of Atonement) Yom Kippur, you are to sound a blast on the shofar; you are to the sound the shofar all through your land; and you are to consecrate the fiftieth year, proclaiming freedom throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It will be a jubilee (yovel) for you; you will return everyone to the land he owns, and everyone is to return to his family. That fiftieth year will be a jubilee (yovel) for you; in that year you are not to sow, harvest what grows by itself or gather the grapes of untended vines; because it is a jubilee (yovel). It will be holy for you; whatever the fields produce will be food for all of you. In this year of jubilee yovel), every one of you is to return to the land he owns.” - Leviticus 25:8-13.

And, more instructions from God; “A year of emancipation and restoration provided by ancient Hebrew law to be kept every 50 years by the emancipation of Hebrew slaves, restoration of alienated lands to their former owners, and omission of all cultivation of the land.” And, in more general terms; “a special anniversary, a celebration of such an anniversary!” You see, the Promised Land of Israel was given by YHVH (Yahweh) GOD to the Jews as opposed to any other people or nation; moreover, this land grant (Israel) was irreversible …and was meant to be an everlasting inheritance for God’s chosen people. Nevertheless, when it came to the reasons for the Jubilee, the Lord instructed his people; “The land is NOT to be sold in perpetuity, because the land belongs to Me (God) - you are only foreigners and temporary residents with Me. Therefore, when you sell your property, you must include the right of redemption (buying back)” - Leviticus 25:23-24 (New Jewish Bible).

In Ancient Israel in a Jubilee Year if things went wrong; you can temporarily sell land or even yourself and your family into slavery. You could buy back, setting free from slavery and chains, restoring one to one’s own land and avenge the enemy. To redeem means; that if you have a wealthy family member who comes to back “your freedom” …and set you free from the “slavery” of debt that has caused you to lose your land. So, you see the REDEEMER will set you free - take the chains of slavery off and RESTORE you back to your own land! Redeem also means to AVENGE you from the enemy that has been depressing you as a person.

The Jubilee is the 50^th Year where God Himself steps up since NO Redeemer has been found… nobody has paid the price - BUT God Himself, REDEEMS and RESTORES His people! When we talk of the Messiah – Yeshua (Jesus) as “the Redeemer” we see that it has many practical aspects in this story of the Jubilee Year! Israel went through so much over thousands of years to even being restored back to their land of inheritance in 1948. The whole Nation had lost their inheritance and the whole Nation went into slavery in foreign lands …and so they as a whole Nation could NOT buy themselves back, ONLY Yahweh God could! The Prophetic Jubilee is when God Himself sets His entire people free and restores them entirely to their inheritance in the Land!

You see, this is what the Jews were looking to happen 2,000 years ago at the time of our Lord’s birth… They were waiting for their “Redeemer” – “the Messiah” to come RESTORE God’s people and from foreign Gentile Rule that had kept them in bondage. We see this also where the Prophet Isaiah looked forward to the “restoration of his people” and we read; “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” - Isaiah 61:1-3. The Hebrew word “to anoint” is a verb that means; “to Messiah” and preach “good news to the poor,” “proclaim liberty” to the captives” as their debts are cancelled and they are being restored – it’s a year of Jubilee! It’s the acceptable YEAR of the Lord and DAY of vengeance of our God on our enemies! Isaiah goes on to say that they will re-build the ruined cities and old ruins. Why? Because they are being restored to their ancient inheritance!

This is just one Scripture that is looking forward to this GREAT JUBILEE which is linked to the Messiah bringing the ultimate good news to the poor and the captives with restoration for God’s people. When our Lord Yeshua (Jesus) came – He preached from this great Scripture; Isaiah 61 and the Jews had a great expectation that He would be the ONE to redeem Israel. Even as we read in the New Testament that the Lord’s Disciples, after His Resurrection, walked broken-hearted to amazement because they said to each other that they hoped that He would be THE ONE to Redeem Israel! They did NOT all see that the Lord had come for more than just Israel …but SALVATION of the world! Yeshua means Salvation in Hebrew!

On the Day of Pentecost Peter even questioned whether Yeshua (Jesus) was the Messiah? Where is this national restoration and the Jubilee Prophesied and foretold by Isaiah? BUT then Peter gets it and says; “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.” - Acts 3: 19-21. Now notice the highlighted phrase that Yeshua (Jesus) MUST remain in Heaven …until an “appointed time” to RESTORE everything just as God had already said when He spoke through His Prophets since the world began! 

The closest Jubilee in the time of our Lord had happened between 13AD-62AD and so when Yeshua was preaching Isaiah 61, He was not talking about the 50^th Jubilee …but rather the 70^th Jubilee that will only come to an end …at the END of the Church Age! You see, the Jubilee that Yeshua (Jesus) was talking about is the “Messianic Jubilee!” Yeshua died for mankind on the Cross of Calvary which is the ONLY atoning sacrifice for mankind and will come again for His “Bride” – “The true Church” (Jew and Gentile believers) at the Harpazo (Rapture) to “Redeem” His people and His Kingdom established at His Second Coming after the 7-Year Tribulation! Christ is our Redeemer!

Could the Messianic Jubilee have begun on Rosh Hashanah - the Biblical Year 5783 and Fall Feasts of the Lord? We learn that a “Jubilee Year” is about “separation” – a “holy year” – about the “proclamation of liberty” …and is about ALL of us but most importantly its about ISRAEL and also the “multiplication of time”; 7 X 7 Shemitah Years = 49 Years plus 1 (Jubilee year) = 50-Years! The Jubilee Year is about restoration of the family as well; The Hebrew word for Jubilee is; YOD - a picture of a hand accomplishing a mighty deed); VAV - is pictured as a nail – securing two things that was once separated; BEIT (BET) is pictured as a house of tent – LAMED as a shepherd’s staff and voice of authority. So, we can say; “A Divine Deed is being done that – restores or connect families back to their – homes or possessions – where the authority over land and possessions that once was lost and redeemed!”

There is also a “Spiritual” meaning that has far more implications (Luke 4:18-19; Isaiah 61) to ALL mankind NOT just Jews! The “Messianic Jubilee” declares that God has a “Divine” plan and purpose for both Jew and Gentile in order to turn mankind from SIN which is Eternal death and separation from God …and is not only just a Jewish Jubilee restricted to Israel. You see as believers in Yeshua – Jesus Christ – the Body of Christ – the Church needs to recognize that we are connected to Israel! Just as Lord Yeshua (Jesus) proclaimed Isaiah 61 and announced that the Prophecy is FULFILLED we are called to stand firm, unconditionally, with His Brethren in Israel especially in these Last Days. We are a privileged generation chosen for “a time such as this” to witness amazing things’ that generations before us could NOT even comprehend how the End-time – Last Day events would or even could happen since Israel had NOT been back in the land until 1948 …and only then the clock began to tick loudly and Prophecy accelerated! 

And, this generation (since 1948) is privileged to witness the advancement of technology, science, DNA, medicine etc. that is literally exploding daily and as the escalation of time as knowledge increases. Yes, 2020 happened and our world suddenly changed as difficult times began upon the entire world that literally shutdown …and even ever since things we once saw as “normal” being removed. BUT we as God-fearing believers are comforted to know that we are that “chosen generation” and a people called of God for “a time such as this” to witness this escalation of Prophecy unfolding day by day and therefore we remain committed “…to preach the acceptable year of the Lord - to open blind eyes and heal the broken-hearted.”

You see that in line of the Prophecies of the Bible there is “a time of refreshing” and a “time of restoration” of everything that has been lost… Restoring the inheritance – plans and purposes of God for ALL of us but that is LINKED to the RETURN of the Messiah …and we are waiting for His Return …but while we are waiting in return, we as believers must keep “looking upwards” and return always to God and in His Word and Promises. So, this expectation remains – for His Return! Now we all know that the return of the Messiah is going to be heralded by the sound of the TRUMPET -SHOFAR …and will come when we least expect it.

So, are we living today in God’s "appointed time" of the Trumpet sound? Time will tell! However, the only unfulfilled Feasts of the Lord are; Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) – Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) - Sukkot (Tabernacles). The fundamental theme of the "Feast of Trumpets" is the sounding of trumpets (Leviticus 23:24). In the Bible, trumpet blasts are associated with (1) Resurrection; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18. (2) The opening of a door to Heaven - Revelation 4:1. (3) A gathering of the people; Isaiah 27:13. (4) The coronation of a king; 1 Kings 1:39; Psalm. 47:5; 98:6. (5) Approaching danger; Ezekiel 33:4; Jeremiah 4:19–21. (6) A battle cry; Jeremiah 4:19–21. (7) A time of wrath and judgment; Joel 2; Zephaniah. 1:14–16. All of these themes are denotive of "the Rapture" and "arrival of Judgment Day." Furthermore, the Hebrew word translated "trumpet blasts" in; Leviticus 23, "teruah" may also refer to a "shout" (Strong’s 8643). The Rapture is when the Lord descends with a "shout" and a "trumpet blast" (1 Thessalonians 4:16). So, the Feast of Trumpets teaches us that when the "appointed time" of God the "Harpazo" - Rapture takes place it will be greeted by the sound of the Shofar (trumpet) but could happen at any time.

Now here’s where it gets interesting the Shofar not only announces His Return / Coming …but also the JUBILEE! The Jubilee and the Messiah …and His return appears to be linked! The commission of the Messiah and fulfilment of Prophecy also includes the Year of Jubilee. Yeshua’s return will bring about the long-awaited Jubilee Restoration! We could in fact call it "God’s Great Reset" which will come in His Jubilee; "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." – Luke 21:28. Just like the warning our Lord gave us in Matthew 24 and Luke 21 – when we see rumours of wars, etc …we are to "look up" as our REDEMPTION is near - which is going to happen before the 70^th Week of Daniel! In other words when we see all these things happening around us then we are to "look up" as redemption is coming soon! There is something great to come and it relates to our Lord – our Messiah’s return and so this is why the Jubilee is so very significant and many are saying that this could very well be the one?

Could this Jubilee Year 2022 …or 2023, be it? We cannot say for sure! However, we need to always live in expectation of our Lord’s soon coming …and be ready especially since we don’t know neither the day nor the hour! God had given us "signs" and words of the Prophets with clues BUT we also don’t know the time the Rapture would take place. Why? We believe that this is so that Satan and his minions will NOT know their time has come to an end. What we do know is that evil is abounding today even more than we can fully realize …since many evil plans are done in secret like 2020 has revealed to us and as our God clearly exposing man’s Globalists plans. Darkness has filled the earth like in the "Days of Noah" and so we believe our "redemption" is soon.

The most important timeline pointing to 2022 relates to the "Year of Jubilee" – Israel’s 70^th Jubilee since back in the land… While numerous attempts have been made to pinpoint the Jubilee based on historical events or patterns, we believe that Daniel’s 70^th Weeks Prophecy provides the simple formula needed to calculate the year of redemption; "From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the prince comes, there will be seven weeks." Daniel 9:25. Daniel says Messiah will appear "7-Weeks," or one JUBILEE period, after a restoration of Jerusalem. This began when the children of Israel entered the Promised Land. However, we also believe that this Sabbatical cycle began on the 1^st Day of Creation. 

So, when did that Sabbatical cycle happen in Israel? We read in Ezekiel 40:1-3 it was “the beginning of the year and 10^th day of the month” (10^th of Tishrei). Tishrei is the only month and day that the Jubilee can begin! “The beginning of the year” is identified as Rosh Hashanah – “the head of the years” …and 14-year Sabbatical Cycle; 14 divided by 2=7 and “Nissan is the beginning of the months.” So, if Nissan is “the beginning of the Biblical months” which also introduces us to the Messiah – “the Passover Lamb” it also sets the stage for all the Feasts of the Lord in order to put a spot-light on the “Redemptive Sacrifice” of Yeshua Ha’Mashiach – Jesus Christ. The Bible however never refers to the month of Nissan as Rosh Hashanah “the head of the years” as that was not its purpose! Its purpose was to elevate the Passover which was so much greater than Israel being delivered from Egypt. Nissan is; “The head of the Feasts of the Lord!”

The month of Nissan is identified on the Hebrew Calendar as the 7^th month and the beginning of the NEW Biblical Year on Rosh Hashanah that introduces the “SHEMITAH” (Tishrei 1) …and the JUBILEE Year Cycles (Tishrei 10) that MUST begin on these days respectively. Tishrei is a Sabbath month and also marks the conclusion of the first 3 spring Feasts of the Lord – (Passover/Pesach) and then 50 days later the summer Feast of Pentecost - Shavuot. 

The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) Tishrei 1 followed by Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) Tishrei 10 and Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) which are all unfulfilled Feasts.

The 7-Shemitah Sabbatical Cycles always begin on Tishrei 1 and end on Elul 29 as the following day is Tishrei 1! Tishrei 10 was on the 05^th October, 2022 on Yom Kippur …and could only be the day on which the Jubilee Year could begin after the completion of 7X7 year cycles = 49 and the following Biblical New Year (5783) 2022-2023 a Jubilee. So, we are now in the 50^th Shemitah Sabbatical Year …but also the 1^st DAY of the 1^st Shemitah Year that began a NEW Shemitah cycle of 7-years on 26^th September, 2022 …and the NEXT cycle of years of the 7X7 Shemitah Years accounting for the next 49 years and only then will another 50^th Jubilee Year occur! The 70^th Jubilee from the time Israel entered the Promise Land 1407BC – 2022AD beginning on 05^th October - Tishrei 10 – appears that of the 70^th Week of Daniel begins on the next Shemitah cycle which is also the 70^th Jubilee…here we ask ourselves; “could this be the appointed time that introduces “the Day of the Lord?” Perhaps sooner than we think we are about to find out! Let’s be reminded not to be filled with fear (Leviticus 25:10) but FAITH! These things MUST come to pass!

We read in the Book of Ezekiel that the vision given to Ezekiel is all about restoration when Ezekiel is transported by God into the future 2,500 years later and shown an unfamiliar landscape of Jerusalem Israel at the Temple Mount where he reviews and measures the NEW Millennium Temple. When did Israel originally enter the Promised Land? Based upon the clue left to figure out when it happened is the 14^th year after the Babylonian Exile 598-597BC and destruction of Jerusalem (1½ years) 588-586BC on our Roman Calendar and start of the NEW Jubilee Cycle!

Using this same calculation, we see that Israel had entered the Promised land somewhere around 1400-1410BC and Jerusalem captured and destroyed somewhere around 588-587BC …so if we subtract 14 years from 587BC we end up with 574BC minus 17 Jubilee Cycles = 574BC and gives us the year Israel entered the Promised Land in 1407BC - the month of Nissan and 7 months later on the Tishrei 10 began the countdown. 1407BC – 574BC = 833 Years divided by 49 (7X7 Shemitah Cycles) = 17 Jubilee Years. “And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the (second) month Ziv (Iyar), which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the Lord.” - 1 Kings 6:1. According to this Scripture in 971-970BC when King Solomon began his reign and build the Temple in 966BC and then subtract 40 years = 967-966BC when Israel wandered in the wilderness …then we are left with 440 years and added to 967BC and gives us the year 1407BC!

So, we could establish that 1408BC is the year Israel entered the Promised Land and the following year in 1407BC is the year that Israel began the 49 Jubilee count and fits perfectly in the Jubilee Sabbatical Cycles. 1407-966BC = 441BC divided 49 = 9 Jubilee Cycles. Now, let’s begin with the degree of Artaxerxes; 456-455BC – 1408BC = 952 Years (divided by 7 = 136 Shemitah Cycles). 

These are just examples now let’s look at our current year 2022 is this a JUBILEE? 1407BC + 1 (0 year) + 2022AD = 3430 years divided by 49 = 70. Here we see that 2022 …is not only a Jubilee Year but it is also the 70^th Jubilee; 10 (the number for “Ordinal Perfection”) x 7 (the number for “Divine Completion”) = 70 Jubilees from when Israel entered the Promised Land. And, from the year 3430BC we land on the Tishrei 10 that begins the 70^th Jubilee on 05^th October, 2022. Could this be the year that ushers in the 70^th week of Daniel? NO! We believe that if we consider the 7 years of “Jacobs Trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7) which is also the 7-Year Tribulation then the Rapture must take place first. So, are we really that close? Time will tell …but we must keep our lamps filled with oil and be ready!

The only modern RESTORATION of the City of Jerusalem occurred in June 1967, when the Jews took possession of the Holy City for the first time in nearly 2,000 years! So, counting 7-Weeks from the start of the 1^st Sabbatical week following the “restoration of Jerusalem,” which is 1973, the Jubilee begins on the 05^th October, 2022 until Tishrei 10 in September 2023. Isn’t it just awe-inspiring to consider that 2,000 years ago, Yeshua (Jesus) stood up at the Synagogue to declare His role as Messiah and fulfiller of the Jubilee; “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” - Luke 4:18-19. Today, if the reading of Daniel’s Prophecy and the Sabbatical cycle are correct then - “the Year of the Lord’s favour” is upon us!

Consider the Number 7 in the Book of Revelation… and the Great Tribulation … 7-lampstands, 7-stars, 7-seals, 7 horns, 7-eyes, 7-angels, 7-trumpets, 7-crowns, 7-plaques, 7-bowls, 7-hills, 7-kings and the 7 last visions that will come to an end after 7-years with the “Salvation of the Jews” …and repentant believing Israel entering into the 1,000-Year Reign of Yeshua – the Messiah that ends after 7,000 years. And, we shouldn’t be surprised that this 70^th Jubilee (2022-2023) is the FINAL sign before the Church Age ends (Times of Gentiles fulfilled) and begins the 7-Year Tribulation and the believers Raptured to meet our Lord in the air (Revelation 19:7-9) …and spend 7-years celebrating “the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!”

The God of the Bible is known for giving a 7-day or 7-year warning before bringing judgment (Genesis 7:1-4; Joshua 6:1-5; Genesis 41). Moreover, the Lord orchestrates Prophetic events according to His seven-year Sabbatical cycle (Daniel 9:24-27). With this in mind, it appears God has been issuing ‘trumpet’ warnings for the last three Sabbatical cycles:

In 2001, the 9/11 attacks, followed by a record stock market crash on the Feast of Trumpets. In 2008, Global Financial Crisis and another record market crash of a 777-point drop when US Congress failed to pass a $700 billion bailout plan - on the Feast of Trumpets. In 2015, no financial crash but, instead, an extraordinary display of “signs in the sun, moon, and stars” …the signs that portend the Day of the Lord (Luke 21:25; Joel 2:31). Significantly, the “final sign,” a blood moon eclipse visible above Jerusalem, occurred 28^th September, 2015 exactly 7-years prior to the Feast of Trumpets of 2022. In 2022, The Shemitah (7^th Year) ends and a NEW Shemitah cycle of 7 years began on Tishrei 1 on Rosh Hashanah with the NEW Biblical Year 5783 (2022-2023) BUT on the Feast of Atonement (Yom Kippur) on Tishrei 10 (05^th October) the Jubilee Year began and will end in September 2023. We wait and see what lies ahead – Time will surely tell!

God’s Word is true! He IS watching to see how the nations are treating His people – Israel. God will have mercy on Israel through Gentile believers acting as mediators towards them! This is one of the most amazing revelations ever given to the Church – an opportunity to do something that carries the highest priority in the heart of God. Yet, sadly, so few have seen the potential and the rewards of serving God in this manner - as agents of mercy to Israel and the Jewish people! Israel was and still is despised today and a despised nation continually turning away from God BUT nothing ever altered the purpose of God for that nation. The despised element is always a noticeable element in the purpose of God. When the Saviour of the world came, He came of that despised nation; like Israel… He Himself was; “despised and rejected by men,” …and there is that despised element; “…things that are despised God has chosen,” 1 Corinthians 1:28. Now, more than at any time is the time to support Israel and the Jewish people - the Lord’s Brethren! We are witnessing the nations and people turning their backs on Israel. With “lockdown” and difficult “recovery” still lying ahead we ARE reminded that the Wuhan Corona Virus has caused many dire needs and continue to increase here in Israel upon the already most vulnerable!
