I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also." - John 14:1-3.

The re-birth of the Nation of Israel was a "miraculous" move by God... It was a Prophetic turning point and when this happened after 2,000 years …the End-time clock began to tick and in our privileged generation is getting louder and louder! From 70AD until 1948, the Nation of Israel existed only in the Bible, history books and in the dreams of fulfilment someday. But due to the defeat of the Ottoman Turks (1918), and the Nazi Holocaust (1933-1945), there was both opportunity (the land) and sufficient support for the Jewish people to finally return to their Ancient homeland according to God’s promise. Despite intense internal opposition to US President Harry Truman from within his own administration to support this historical and Biblical phenomenon …the US became the first nation to recognize the newly formed State of Israel on May 14th, 1948. Since then, the Middle East has been a hot-bed of anti-Semitism, violence and war. It did not bring PEACE but Muslim’s repeated attempts (1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, etc.) at destroying the world’s only Jewish Nation. Israel could NEVER have returned unless it was God’s appointed time. Israel is proof that our Bible is true and if God kept His promise to Israel, then He WILL keep His promise to us – His Church.

We must understand that our God is in control of everything… God chose the nation of Israel to be His son, His firstborn, His special people (Exodus 4:22; 19:5). And, to Israel He gave specific promises that are the basis for many things that are yet to happen on this earth. Whether the world understands it or not - the Jews are God’s chosen people and Israel is God’s Land! This is stated and re-stated in God’s Word. God’s choice was made from all the nations of the earth (Deuteronomy 14:2). The Jews were NOT chosen because of merit but because God loved them (Deuteronomy 7:7-8) …and this was re-affirmed even in the midst of defection and their apostasy (Amos 3:2). Even during the New Testament times when the Church had entered the picture, God re-affirmed that His choice of Israel had NOT been set aside (Romans 11:1-2). The true believers – the Church were "grafted-in" like wild olive branches into the Olive tree (Israel) and "One-New-Man" (true believers – Jew and Gentile) became the bride of Christ (Ephesians 2:14-22). 

2,000 years on Shavuot (Pentecost), the first Believers - who were nearly ALL Jewish, recognized that the New Covenant (Testament) had begun. They didn’t immediately recognize that non-Jews should be part of God’s people or His New Covenant blessings. The One-New-Man here foreshadowed the Old Covenant. It took them awhile to uncover the truths in the Hebrew Scriptures that point to the inclusion of the Goyim (Non-Jews/Gentiles) into God’s Covenantal plan for mankind …but today there is a great awakening happening in Israel. We are that privileged generation to witness Israel back in their land as well as work for Kingdom purposes reaching out to Jews living in God’s Land …with the love of Christ and financial support for those in dire need!

Pray4Zion has over the past 14 years worked alongside the Messianic Congregation; supported Messianic Crèche (pre-school) and School in Tiberius, Northern Israel. Messianic congregations and organizations do NOT receive help from the Israeli Government. We have seen God’s hand upon children that are now grown up and strong believers in Yeshua (Jesus) and are now taking the Gospel to their people in Israel. They always remember the kindness our partners have shown towards supporting them whilst still at school. We are reminded that the first missionaries were Jewish… that it took a special vision (Acts 10:10–16) to convince the Apostle Peter that it was acceptable for him as an observant Jew to enter the home of a pagan (the Roman Centurion Cornelius) to share the Good News. We learn, however, in Acts 11:20–25 that some of the Jews in Cyprus and Cyrene began to share their faith with Hellenists (Jews who were following a Greek lifestyle, although this also might refer to Greek-speaking non-Jews) in Antioch who also came to faith in Yeshua (Jesus). When the Believers in Jerusalem learned of this, they sent Barnabas to Antioch to confirm it.  He saw and was convinced of the sincerity of their faith, exhorting them “all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose.”  (Acts 11:23) Barnabas went to Tarsus to get Apostle Paul and bring him back to Antioch where they continued to teach the believers for an entire year! Nothing God does is ever wasted or without purpose!

It was the role of the Apostle Paul (formally the Pharisee Saul of Tarsus) without question to bring the Jewish Gospel (New Covenant/Testament) to the pagans / Gentiles of the Roman Empire. We as believers in our Jewish Messiah Yeshua owe them a debt of gratitude …since most of the Lord’s Disciples died painful deaths taking the Gospel to the Gentile - pagan world. This is clearly expressed in Paul’s letters and teachings, as in; Romans 3:29: “Is God the God of Jews only?  Is He not the God of Gentiles too?  Yes, of Gentiles too!” Although Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah who had come to bring Salvation to Israel - He is also the “light for the Gentiles” (Isaiah 42:6).  It was the role of the first Jewish Believers 2,000 years ago to bring His message to the Jewish People first …and then also to the world! It’s was never God’s will that any should perish …but to have everlasting life! In the Book of Acts, Peter quotes the Hebrew Prophet Joel saying essentially that God’s Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) is being poured out on ALL people …and that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!”  (Acts 2:17–21)

Still, as we have said, it was NOT God’s intent to create a new religion since everything is based upon God’s Word – the Bible and God’s plan for Salvation. In fact, Paul clearly explains in his letter to the Romans (Romans 11:11–31) that the Believing Gentiles, who are the “wild olive branches,” have been grafted into the same “olive tree“ and now share in the nourishing sap from the same “olive root.”  Paul warned the Romans, NOT to boast against the natural branches who were broken off because of unbelief …but, instead, relish the kindness of God.  When the “broken branches” come to faith as Jewish Believers (Messianic), they are “grafted back” into their own “olive tree” and nourished along with the Gentiles …by the same root as the “Bride of Christ!” It’s certainly happening in Israel! Julie and I (Alf) personally witnessed substantial growth in Messianic Congregations since we first arrived in Israel in 2007.

Although a man-made split from “the root” occurred between Jews and Gentiles during the last 2,000 years, this was never God’s intent…! From long ago, the plan of Almighty God was to re-establish the kind of intimacy with Him that was experienced in the Garden of Eden. That plan came to fruition when the veil that separated the Holy of Holies from mankind was torn from top to bottom. In Ephesians 2:14, Paul explains that through Yeshua, the enmity between Jew and Gentile has ceased - the dividing wall has been breached and that now both groups are one! Paul described to the Gentile Ephesians what the One New Man should look like; “You are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of His household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Yeshua HaMashiach [Christ Jesus] Himself as the chief cornerstone.  In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.” - Ephesians 2:19–21.

What many don’t understand… is that those Jews having returned to Israel through Aliyah is according to God’s promise and that they have a greater burden for Israel than Jews living in America, South Africa or around the world. Sadly, many Jews abroad are just Jewish by religion and don’t care much for the faithful Jews now living in Israel. We have seen with the Covid-19 enforcement of untested Jabs upon the people when Israel was chosen by its leadership as “testing ground” for the world in 2020 and continuing to suffer daily side effects or death. Many Israelis’ today are living in very difficult conditions and are struggling to make ends meet. And, at the same time Israelis are trying to survive in God’s land which is now under Draconian leadership who are sold-out to the Globalisation’ plan of de-population. Jews were used as tests for untested vaccines during the Holocaust even before Israel was reborn as a Nation, but sadly history is repeating itself. We at Pray4Zion will always for as long as God provides and through faithful partners continue support faithful Israeli’s living in Israel in these difficult times.

The Bible says that Israel WILL once again play a MAJOR role in End-times… and we can undoubtedly say that this has happened now and has escalated at top speed since the re-establishment of Israel as a Nation in 1948 and Jerusalem under Israel’s sovereign control in 1967. If we don’t understand this, we will miss what God is doing in the world today! God made a detailed Covenant to Abraham, the father of His chosen people (Genesis 12:1-3; 13:14-17; 15:1-7; 17:1-18 …and then it was carried over to his son Isaac and to his son Jacob, who became Israel. But, most interesting in light of current events, was the promise to give Abraham’s descendants, the Jews, a certain land (Israel) for their own. The boundaries were specific (Genesis 15:18), and the land was given as “an everlasting possession” (Genesis 17:8). God does NOT change His mind!

Concerning ALL peoples… God promised that He would bless those who blessed Abraham and his descendants and curse those who curse them and this still stands true today Throughout history, people have been either blessed or cursed …depending on their treatment to the Jews. This principle was established by God way back in Abraham’s time (Genesis 14:12-20; 20:2-18; Deuteronomy 30:7; Isaiah 14:1-2). In more recent times God has dealt with NATIONS on the basis of their treatment to the Jews and we believe it is most certainly is anyone who curses Israel (Jew or Gentile). And, God WILL judge those living at the conclusion of the Tribulation period; “Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of My brethren (the Jews) you have done unto Me,” Matthew 25:40.

This raises and interesting question about the United States in future events! Today we see America in the news and with a change of Government from Trump who was pro-Israel to Biden - fraudulently placed by the Globalists ruling elites, Big Tech and Big Pharm into the Whitehouse to do their bidding. Israel is becoming more isolated just like the Word of God warned it would be in the Last Days! Some thought is that the USA could be a part of the revived Roman Empire with the Pope ushering in of the 10-nation Federation eventually to be headed by the Antichrist in the Tribulation. This may be the case for certainly historic and ethnic ties link USA to Western Europe. But, if this is true then the role will apparently not be an important one as the USA is not named, nor mentioned or hinted at either directly or symbolically in any of the prophecies concerning the 10-nation federation as written in the Book of Daniel …in the Tribulation. Time will tell.

The Lord our God is in control of the End Times and just as He was in control of the past so He is in control of the future… As we have always said nothing just happens by coincidence with God! Everything is by God’s “appointed time!” The Lord controls the ultimate fulfilment of time and has sovereign control to bring His promises to pass. Only the Lord knows the exact times and seasons for His fulfilment (Acts 1:7; 1; Thessalonians 5:1). The Lord Yeshua (Jesus) is coming again for His Bride the Church. For He says, “However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” - Luke 8:18. The question is NOT answered by the Lord for He leaves it as an open question.  BUT there is no doubt regarding the faithfulness of the Son of Man and just as many Prophecies have already been fulfilled the Lord WILL return for us His true Bible believing – faithful Church …and we can stand upon the sovereign Word and promise of God!

“Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” - 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. Are you ready for the most amazing event that could happen at any moment …in the twinkling of an eye? The Rapture or “catching away” will be a “glorious event” that God in His mercy has promised to His Church. Yeshua (Jesus) told His Disciples that there would be many signs indicating His return is near. The Prophetic “signs” of today indicate that the return of our Lord is closer than we could imagine! The promise we have is that someday - at the blowing of a trumpet and the shout of an archangel, Yeshua (Jesus) WILL appear in the sky and take UP His Church - living and dead, to Heaven. The question remains: Are you ready? Truly, the time is running out as the Lord tells us to be ALERT AND WATCHFUL at all times.

An understanding of Prophecy in the Last Days brings comfort in the face of sorrow…! What believer hasn’t stood in front of an open grave of a loved one without thinking of the certainty of the resurrection of the body…? Or, who when misunderstood or wronged, has not thought ahead of the time when the Lord will come “…and bring to light the hidden things of darkness… and then shall every man have praise of God?” - 1 Corinthians 4:5. We often take prophetic truths for granted but just think how hopeless we would be if the Bible did not predict the future. Think of the excitement of knowing that living believers may never see death but be changed instantly at the return of Christ! (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

An understanding of Prophecy in the Last Days brings hope to believers during these very difficult days… of unknown future lockdowns caused by a planned Globalists pandemic of Corona (Covid-19) exposing wickedness and draconian leaderships across the world. “Is the Coronavirus in Bible Prophecy?” It is a question many believers are asking today since it’s a world-changing even that has touched lives across the world! We can only stand upon the Bible and that which our Lord Yeshua (Jesus) warned us of 2,000 years ago that would occur in the future …we believe that we are here now, that there would be many signs of the End of the Age. However as to knowing when these things will be, He stated; “…But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only” - Matthew 24:36.

The Prophecy of Matthew 24 and Luke 21 helps us ALL prepare for that day, including the appearance of …false Christ’s, wars, calamities such as famines, pestilences, plagues and earthquakes, apostasy and the coming Tribulation and persecution of Christians …as well as a worldwide Gospel proclamation. This crisis has shown that no matter who you are …or the colour of the skin …or where you are situated …or what you do …or how much money you have - everyone is vulnerable! This ought to help us realize just how dependent upon God we really are! These signs point us to the Rapture …and the Second Coming of Christ, which is at the end of the 7-Year Tribulation period. According to our Lord Yeshua the generation that sees all of these signs will also see His return (Matthew 24:32-34). But before the return of Christ, these events that He predicted are going to spill into the world in which we live. The word “pestilence” is defined as “a contagion or infectious epidemic that is virulent and devastating.” That’s a pretty good description of what’s going on right now!

While our current situation is definitely “a sign” for today …the corona virus has taught us many things. In fact, we can learn from this pandemic that will help us serve our Lord better, live better lives and be better people: It has taught us NOT to put our trust in Governments, Leaders, Scientists or anyone who does not have our best interests at heart. We must always look upwards towards God who is our help in a time of trouble …and to the credibility of His Word - the Bible. There will be worldwide events that are going to happen during the Tribulation …events that are much more horrific than what we are even facing today - which may have seemed improbable to some until recently. Not only does the Bible say they will happen …but that it could happen in our generation – the generation that saw Israel reborn in 1948.

It’s NOT global warming - it’s NOT global cooling and It’s definitely NOT climate change even although it is somewhat related. God's Word is warning us that it is the SIN of Mankind that is affecting the entire earth more and more severely! God says; "If you live in accordance with my precepts and are careful to observe my commandments (order), I will give you rain in proper season, so that the land will bear its crops, and the trees their fruit; your threshing will last till harvest time, and your harvest till the time for sowing, and you will have food to eat in abundance, so that you may dwell securely in your land. I will establish peace in the land, that you may lie down to rest without anxiety. I will rid the country of ravenous beasts, and keep the sword of war from sweeping across your land." - Leviticus 26:3-4.

There is an uncertainty of life that we all can safely say that NONE of us saw this pandemic coming and the extent at which it was to be implemented NOR what is yet to come - except those wicked Globalists and ruling world leaders who planned it for years in secret. Who could have known or imagined such a time as this? Life is truly uncertain, but we can be certain that God is in control and is on His throne, even in the midst of our uncertain circumstances. Are we in trouble? Yes! But it is a warning and a reminder that our HOPE is in God alone. As Jesus prepared to leave His disciples and return to Heaven, He said, “Let not your heart be troubled” - John 14:1. Also, in John 16:33; “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Our Lord doesn’t just overcome “tribulation,” He overcomes the world and the entire environment in which tribulation takes place and He is in TOTAL control! We can trust in the sufficiency of Yeshua – Jesus Christ our Saviour.

It’s a Biblical fact that the Rapture is coming… Yeshua (Jesus) told His Disciples on the Mount of Olive, “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man,” Luke 21:36. This verse makes it very clear if we are NOT “watching” for His coming we will not be counted “worthy to escape all the things that will come to pass” during the Great Tribulation! If we are not “watching” for Him He is not coming for us. The Apostle Paul makes it very clear that if we are not looking for Yeshua (Jesus) we are not going with Him in the Rapture (Hebrews 9:28). We must keep our lamps burning as we wait for our “Bridegroom!”

Did you know the Bible contains more prophecies about the Second Coming of Yeshua (Jesus) than it does the First? It has been calculated that there are actually more than 300 Prophecies concerning various aspects of our Lord’s First Coming! NO one could possibly have made this number of accurate predictions by chance! But, God did it, through His Prophets, and the evidence is in the Bible for all to see and believe. Fulfilled Prophecy also gives us an assurance of Prophecies which are yet unfulfilled! We may, with all confidence, conclude that since all Prophecies concerning Christ’s First coming came to pass just as predicted - then all the Prophecies concerning His Second Coming will likewise be fulfilled exactly as they are written. And, because, Yeshua said; “I will come again,” John 14:3 …we CAN be assured that He will. When Paul writes that the Lord will descend from heaven, and that the dead in Christ will be raised and those alive in Christ will be changed (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) we may confidently expect that just this WILL happen!

When John predicted that the water of the Euphrates River will be dried up …to facilitate the crossing of the armies of the kings of the East in Revelation 16:12 - we can be certain that this WILL actually take place one day. One of the most amazing Prophecies that have been fulfilled especially to the revelation of the First Coming of Christ is the prediction of the exact timing of His coming; Daniel 9:25; “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem unto the Messiah shall be seven weeks and threescore and two weeks…” We may look ahead with complete confidence to the fulfilling of God’s Word exactly as written. Our Lord said that not one “jot” or “title” will remain unfulfilled (Matthew 5:17-18), which means that every letter, and each part of each letter of every word, will be fulfilled. YES, He came as God promised …and this means that He WILL come again just as He promised! We are closer to this happening than we realise!

Christians have been asking the question; “What time is it, God?” According to the signs, it’s almost “midnight,” and Yeshua (Jesus) is asking if His bride is prepared for the imminent call to be taken home to heaven …But on a more personal level, the question we all have to ask ourselves, “Am I ready to leave this world, when the Rapture call is given?” Since the Church will have been removed before the final 7-years of Tribulation and this is to be seen as one of the greatest signs God has given our generation concerning the Rapture of His true Church. Whatever we believe about the timing of the Rapture, or whether we even believe in Bible prophecy the most important question we need to ask ourselves is “AM I Ready?” If we were to die right now, we would be immediately removed from the earth to stand before our Creator for judgment. If ever there was a time to proclaim the imminent appearing of Christ that time is now. God has made every possible effort to awaken the Church to the fact that Yeshua will soon be calling His Bride home!

“Now there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but also to all those who love His appearing,” 2 Timothy 4:8.

How quickly will these two changes occur; the resurrection of dead saints and the translation of living believers? Paul says that it will all happen “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.” The whole procedure will be instantaneous. This indicates that the Rapture including both dead and living saints will take place in an inseparable instant of time…! The Words “moment” and “twinkling” refer to the instantaneous nature of this event. And, the phrase “at the last trump” reminds us of its finality. After the trumpet sounds, there will be NO time to prepare for the changes will occur instantly. There will be NO second chance for those up till then have refused the grace of God! Paul says we shall all be changed in that instant. This would seem to disprove the teaching that only certain believers will be Raptured while others will be left to go through a partial Rapture (1 Corinthians 15:51-57). 

What we experiencing in a sick world today is a kick-back of our planet's eco-systems …because of mankind's chaotic mindset and rebellion against God, His Word, and His Creation. Scientists together with greedy self-serving Globalists leaders and the ruling wealthy elites want to replace God with their views of how the earth should be managed …and this should be concerning for everyone! They have the backing of a FAKE Media! If we follow God's Word – the Bible, His Laws and His order for us to have an abundant life on earth, we will receive our rains in proper season and our sunshine in proper season and will have food, clothing, shelter, and peace in safe communities. God has given us His beautiful creation to enjoy during our fleeting time on earth and has given us all freewill of choice! However, what we are seeing today is the plan of the wicked and greedy world Globalists leaders and ruling elites …to prevent and limit us from our God-gifted rights to and even deciding our time on earth. Our times are in God’s Hands – not mans. The only time that they will win is when we give in to their evil demands!

Sincere prayer from the heart should bring one to a better understanding of the heart of God the Father. A sincere relationship with the Heavenly ABBA Father cannot exist without prayer. Prayer is a necessity in the exchange of one’s heart with God the Father. We can always come to our Heavenly Father with all our hurts, disappointments and challenges. Even in these difficult times our HOPE is in Him. Our lives should always be one with the Father in worship and prayer as we wait for the "glorious" day of our soon redemption. Our souls cry Abba Father!

Today now, more than at any time is the time to support Israel and the Jewish people - the Lord’s Brethren. Israelis are facing intense suffering not only from the Corona (Covid-19) Virus pandemic …but are forced by the government to take "voluntary" …yet mandatory vaccinations or be ostracized from society! This is happening to innocent children as well. Not since World War 11 and the Holocaust has Jews been the testing ground for the world. At the same time attacks continue within Israel by Palestinian Arabs bent on destroying Israel. The surrounding Israeli borders are vulnerable and face a constant threat from Iran. In Israel "peace" or "ceasefire" is NEVER certain! Thank you once again for your prayers and generous support!

God’s Word is true! He IS watching to see how the nations are treating His people – Israel. God will have mercy on Israel through Gentile believers acting as mediators towards them! This is one of the most amazing revelations ever given to the Church – an opportunity to do something that carries the highest priority in the heart of God. Yet, sadly, so few have seen the potential and the rewards of serving God in this manner - as agents of mercy to Israel and the Jewish people! Israel was and still is despised today and a despised nation continually turning away from God BUT nothing ever altered the purpose of God for that nation. The despised element is always a noticeable element in the purpose of God. When the Saviour of the world came, He came of that despised nation; like Israel… He Himself was; "despised and rejected by men," …and there is that despised element; "…things that are despised God has chosen," 1 Corinthians 1:28. Now, more than at any time is the time to support Israel and the Jewish people - the Lord’s Brethren! We are witnessing the nations and people turning their backs on Israel. With "lockdown" and difficult "recovery" still lying ahead we ARE reminded that the Wuhan Corona Virus has caused many dire needs and continue to increase here in Israel upon the already most vulnerable!
