In 1976, Professor Bernard Lewis wrote, "In the period immediately preceding the outbreak of the Six-Day War in 1967, an ominous phrase was sometimes heard; ‘First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people.'" The ‘Saturday people’ are of course, Jews …and today nearly gone from Muslim lands. The ‘Sunday people’ refers to, Christians …who are in the crosshairs, and they, too, are fleeing at an alarming rate from persecution. Both Jews and Christians are unwelcome in Muslim-majority lands NOT for political reasons …BUT rather for reasons of Islamist ideology in their Quran; "the declaration of JIHAD, or holy war, against infidels (non-Muslims)."

That deadly Islamist threat, which appears today in graffiti across the world in Arabic says… "On Saturday we KILL the Jews, on Sunday we KILL the Christians." And, what about the chanting and name calling; America "the great Satan?" – Israel "the little Satan?" You see, if America falls …then Christianity falls as it is the pivotal anchor of the Western Christian belief and Israel’s greatest ally! If Israel falls …the Christianity falls as it is the birthplace of the Bible, Old and New Testament and where Yeshua was born, Crucified, Resurrected and will return to! Islam’s target is for both!

Yasser Arafat did NOT originate the saying… "First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people". It is a jihadist slogan or saying used by some extremist groups in the Middle East to express the goal of removing both Jews and Christians from the region. The phrase is an anti-Semitic and anti-Christian expression, where; Saturday people" refers to Jews, whose Sabbath is observed on Saturday. AND the "Sunday people" refers to Christians, who typically observe their day of rest or worship on Sunday. The quote has been found as graffiti in areas like the Palestinian-controlled territories and Bethlehem, reflecting an anti-Christian sentiment following a Muslim takeover of some areas, not as a statement from Jassar Arafat himself.

The phrase "After Saturday comes Sunday" was a slogan used by Arab rebels during the 1936–39 Arab revolt… in then British "Palestine," said to have originated with supporters of Haj Amin al-Husseini's faction. This saying conveyed the message that after the expulsion of Jews then the Christians would be next. So, you see, this murderous slogan of annihilating both "Jew and Christian – infidels" was already popular during the Arab revolt …and used that to express that after the removal of Jews (Saturday, the Sabbath) …would come the expulsion of Christians (Sunday people).

The hatred towards the Jewish people does NOT end with the Jewish people! There are some Christians who have been misled by the false teaching of "replacement theology" …as well as the Liberal "woke generation" who consequently fail to acknowledge the intransient relationship between Christians and Jews …or the connection between Satan’s attack on Israel and the Church. Radical Islam is waging war on both Jews and Christians worldwide. By speaking up against Antisemitism and by standing with Israel we push back against these EVIL forces and show the Jewish people that they are NOT alone! As true Bible believing Judea-Christians we MUST always stand with Israel and the Jewish people the brethren of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua (Jesus) who came as a Jew and someday soon WILL return to Jerusalem for His Bride – Jew and Gentile! God’s Word WILL be established just as God said it would happen… Today, the Eastern Gate is sealed shut; covered in stone; surrounded by graves placed there intentionally untouched since 1540 AD! Why? Because Suleiman the Magnificent, the Muslim Ottoman Sultan, sealed it shut! He did NOT know he was fulfilling Ezekiel’s Prophecy long before Suleiman, Ezekiel wrote, "Then the man brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary, the one facing east, and it was shut. The Lord said to me, ‘This gate is to remain shut. It must not be opened; no one may enter through it. It is to remain shut because the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered through it.’" - Ezekiel 44:1–3. This passage refers to the Eastern Gate and the coming of the Messiah …and the gate’s supernatural "sealing." God Himself commands that the Eastern gate MUST remain shut until the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) returns.

Suleiman tried to stop the Jewish Messiah by sealing the gate and placing a cemetery in front of it, thinking a Jewish priest (Cohen) would NOT walk on graves …but he unknowingly fulfilled the Word of God to the letter. No power, Islamic, political, military, or ideological, can overturn what God has spoken. While the world argues whether the Jews are “real” or “European,” …the stones of Jerusalem preach a louder sermon! The Jewish people are back in their ancient homeland, Jerusalem is unified for the first time in 2,000 years, And the Eastern Gate remains sealed just as Ezekiel declared, just as the Mount of Olives awaits the return of the Messiah, All Nations are “aligning” exactly as Zechariah fore-saw! This is NOT by coincidence. This is NOT politics. This is NOT Zionist propaganda. This is Prophecy unfolding in real time in this Last Day generation.

The very existence of the Eastern Gate itself testifies that Yahweh God’s Eternal Covenant with Israel stands! The Jewish people are NOT imposters. Jerusalem is the Eternal City of God and the Messiah’s return is drawing near. No political narrative can rewrite the Bible. Israel is NOT a modern invention. Israel is a Prophetic “miracle!” Every stone in Jerusalem testifies that the YHVH – Yahweh … the God of Israel is alive! Yes, the world may debate - the Nations may rage – World leaders may mislead just as the media may distort. Antisemitism may rise BUT the Gate remains “sealed.” The Word of God remains fulfilled, and Israel remains God’s chosen Nation! The next time people argue about the modern-day Jews, remind them of “the Golden Gate remaining sealed …SHUT because it awaits the King who is coming very soon!”

It’s true that at times past, Christians and Jews have lived in ‘relative’ peace in Muslim lands …BUT only as “dhimmis” (protected’ in exchange for a special TAX called “Jizya) so in fact they lived as what Islam regards as “second-class citizens!” BUT that’s also NOT always the case where RADICAL Islam reigns as we clearly are witnessing today. Christians in Africa and the Middles East (Nigeria, Sudan, Mozambique, Iraq, Syria etc) can testify to that! It is also true however, that Muslim terrorists often look for “a pretence or reason” just to slaughter Christians and Jews NOT just in Israel …BUT anywhere around the world. And of course, Christians are marked with the same hatred as Jews (infidels according to Islam) and are today dying - “slaughtered” openly because they were not Muslim. That is the ultimate crime for Jews (Saturday people) and Christians (the Sunday people)! Skin colour and ethnicity is NOT the primary issue here in both cases!

Beyond the Middle East both Jews and Christians live dangerously in Muslim majority countries as we all are witnessing most notably Somalia, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Sudan… When Boko Haram slaughters and/or kidnaps Christians in Nigeria …their victims have the same skin colour as them …and the same nationality too! AND it’s much the same for other African Nations such as Sudan, Mozambique where ISIS/Al-Qaeda terrorists are situated etc., you see it is their “belief in Jesus Christ” that singles Christians out for brutal destruction. The same holds true in Syria, Iraq, Iran and Turkey and other Islamic countries where the Christians …speak the same language of the country …and share common “ethnic” descent! Their ONLY crime today is for sharing Isa (Jesus Christ) in the midst of radical Islamic war …and so their only means of “escape” is to denounce their FAITH in Christ and convert to Islam” …or to flee for their lives to safety elsewhere if they can …or “DIE!” There is NO middle ground! “Evil will never leave the house of one who pays back evil for good.” – Proverbs 17:13.

Almost every day, the world witnesses Radical Islam’s vicious hatred for the JEWS - the “Saturday people.” These radical Muslim terrorists have now also increased their hatred for the Christians – the “Sunday people!” They are NO longer hiding it either! Their barbaric display is even advertised and helped along by the lying Liberal Media and Palestinian activists “where evil is called good and good is now become evil” …AND it’s something we dare NOT ignore! Political affiliation is NOT the primary issue AND neither Ethnicity! The primary issue, specifically for Christians being killed …is for their belief in Yeshua (Jesus Christ) and the Bible …AND for Jews the primary issue is that YHVH – Yahweh God specifically gave the Land (His Land) of Israel to the Jews as they are like it or not God’s chosen people!

The Jews are from the genealogy of; Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel). The same God - Yahweh that Christians worship too. Muslims main aim is to take the Land of Israel and do NOT want peace! That’s why Jews are killed …AND that’s why Radical Islamist Muslims despise both Jews and Christians so deeply. That’s also why Israel faced attack after attack since the invasion from Gaza to slaughter Jews in Israel on 7 October 2023. Hamas terrorists are Islamic Jihadists and a proxy of IRAN who do NOT just want Jerusalem …BUT ALL of the Land of Israel!

Islam is a pagan “ideology” with Muslim “Colonizers” as we see across Africa …and what is currently taking place in Britain, Europe and Western Nations! Here are some examples from there Quran!

The war against Islamist organizations …like the Muslim Brotherhood and other groups whose goal is to change the face of those Western Countries …is constant!

A widely held perception among Muslims is that Islam must lead and rule the world because their religion is the true one and the others are null and void… Thus, they view the world as divided into two; Dar al-Islam …that is, the house of Islam countries where RULE is in the hands of Muslims …and Dar al-Harb - the house of WAR …a term for the unbelieving Countries (bilad al-kufr). These are Western Countries where governance is most often Christian, and therefore, in their view, Muslims; “have a duty to fight them and turn them into Islamic states!”  Furthermore, according to their pagan doctrine, Spain - once conquered by Islam, MUST return to its embrace, and other Western Countries should come under Islamic Rule. Israel is their main target!

Hundreds of thousands of Muslim immigrants, once settled in Western countries, demand many rights such as building mosques and schools, halal food, and more, and anyone who does not accede to these demands is labelled Islamophobic or anti-Islam... More often than not, Western countries grant all these rights to Muslims, yet the latter’s ultimate loyalty is to their religious laws rather than to the host state. Moreover, once those immigrants become full citizens, they rebel against the very countries that opened their doors and demand the implementation of Islamic laws.

A good example of how Islam can easily control weak or corrupt leadership of a Nation… The current South African government (for past 32 years) has been fooled and since this government has chosen to side with Hamas terrorists (and other dictatorship countries) they were bought by IRAN and other Islamic Nations who gladly settled debts! BUT then in return they then have to fight on Iran’s behalf as a “proxy” nation of Iran …in “a war of hatred” against Israel! The ongoing (so-called) “Genocide Lawfare Case” against Israel at the Hage began in November 2023 almost immediately and very conveniently only a month after Hamas attacked Israe on 07 October! This “case” against Israel was “ridiculously framed” and “planned ahead” by Iran and its proxies! Israel is a sovereign Nation that cares about and protects its citizens against any attacks from …any of the Iranian proxies!

Proxy terrorist Nations surrounding Israel are Hamas in Gaza on the Southern border and Hezbollah in Lebanon …and ISIS/Al Qaeda in Syria on the Northern border. However, Iran has other “proxy nations” are the Houthis of Yemen, Turkey and others (who are NOT even in close vicinity to Israel)! This “Lawfare Case” by Iran through South Africa’s current government continued throughout 2024-2025 …AND still today continues on into 2026. It is a demonic “spiritual attack” upon Israel by 7 Nations …and if we include South Africa Lawfare Case then its 8 Nations! And should Syria join the fight which is very much a possibility …it will be 9 Nations! God will NOT be fooled,

Now look at this …Is it a “sign” of things to come? In 2025, South African Christian Churches came under attack by the current government who want FULL control of everything including what can or cannot be preached, should this law be introduced! South Africa is a majority Christian Nation as 85% people profess to be Christian and only 2% are Muslim …HOWEVER with the influx of millions of illegal immigrants …and plane loads of Palestinians from Gaza - this figure could change …BUT still the majority remains Christian!

Another law (adding to the already 145 laws for minorities) upon the Church by the South African government was announced in December 2025 …called the “Apartheid Bill” …introduced by Islamic party called Al Jama-ah aiming to re-introduce the 1973 “UN Apartheid Convention in South African Law as crime against humanity.” BUT reading between the lines they want to prosecute Churches …or anyone who supports Israel since they call Israel an “Apartheid State!’ Israel is connected to Christians as the Olive tree is connected to the branches – our Bible, God Yahweh and cannot be separated! As true-Judea Christians we MUST stand with Israel!  

When weak leadership rules then there is a plan by Radical Islamists to force a take-over! Sadly, most people are NOT paying attention not only in South African but around the world as they are being lied to by governments and Media stating, “that Israel is their enemy!” YET, Israel NEVER started the war (or any wars)! Hamas terrorists in Gaza did that when they raided Israel, burnt babies, raped and pillaged as they took hostages, killed and destroyed lives of innocent Jewish families …truly the nature of Satan; “The thief (Satan) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Yeshua/ Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”  – John 10:10. Yeshua – Jesus Christ is our source!

Since the fragile “ceasefire” between Gaza and Israel (thankfully) by US President Trump came into effect the Israeli Hostages are now back in Israel after 738 days…

However, demonstrations by Liberals marching against Israel continues on in Western Countries along with radical Palestinian supporters and Islamists Muslims chanting - “free Palestine” or “from the river to the sea…” and this is on the increase! Sadly, like a “ticking time bomb” not knowing when it will eventually explode as the people of the Nations begin to wake up! “The Lord promises to bless those who bless Israel and curse those who oppose them.” – Genesis 12:3.

What about Muslims claiming to be the “Friday people?” Although Friday is NOT a sabbath in Islam …but according to their Quran recognized as a superior holy day …and so Muslims believe Friday is the day of the week when the “day of judgement” will occur …and the day on which the world will end. However, it is not always realized that Friday - the Muslim weekly day, is essentially different from the Jewish Sabbath on Saturday or the Christian’s on Sunday. Thus, Friday is NOT at all a day of rest, for Muslims …but only obligatory!  Ancient tradition has the Muslims say, "The Jews have every 7th day a day, when they get together (for prayer), and so do the Christians; therefore, let us do the same!’ As might be expected, there exists NO authentic or complete account of this - of Islam in the ancient sources. The only passage of the Qur'an, which refers to it (Surah 62:9-11), supposes it to be already in existence? And since Islam only began existing in the 7^th Century- Muslims copied from Scriptures of Old Testament Bible and Jewish Prophets written thousands of years BC …and from Christians – New Testament 700 years before Islam (with exception that their Quran is extreme in persecution and so Islam is based upon extreme persecution and death of both Jew and Christian)!

Now let’s take a look at a warning from the “Stages of Persecution” … These stages come from the world of Sociology and Political theory and are commonly observed in cultures that eventually turn against segments within them. Over the past decade, many Cities and Countries in the West have experienced rapid demographic and cultural change, raising difficult questions about identity, security, and local laws. Large numbers of Muslim immigrants entering those Countries a gradual process that alters the face of host Countries …and provokes not only political disputes …but a fundamental debate about the future of the West! You see, persecutions do NOT just come out of nowhere! They build in a culture over time until they “boil over” into often-horrific acts wherein those who inflict them actually feel justified in what they do …and in Islam it is like doing their god Allah a favour! As we consider the descriptions of the following stages, it is hard to argue that we are NOT well into the beginning stages already in the Western World …and edging into the FINAL stage!

Here, then, are stages that predict or indicate “religious persecution” against Jews and Christians (or a group of people) is in fact taking place; Stage 1. “Stereotype” or “Classification” of the targeted group of people! To “stereotype” is to simplify …or standardize the conception or image of a group which is often based on “prejudice or inaccuracy” into “us and them” by Ethnicity, Race, Religion, or Nationality. The removal or denial of a targeted group is their Citizenship …by a legal way to DENY them civil and human rights, jobs, land, homes, business etc!  The first step toward the “genocide of Jews” in Nazi Germany in WW11 were the LAWS to strip them of their German Citizenship! “I (God) will gather ALL nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; there I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.” – Joel 3:2.

Did you know that between 1900-1902 in South Africa Afrikaners Boers (Farmers) were “herded” into British Concentration Camps where they were isolated and 48,000 died - many women and children of starvation, neglect and sickness. And Hitler used this same example in Holocaust Concentration Camps where 6 million Jews died! Over the past 3 decades Afrikaners in South Africa share a common similar persecution that with Jews and Israel! Persecution dating back a Century that has NOT ended (with the exception of “Concentration Camps) in this generation both are still being “stereotyped” with the same label, and it is intensifying! This doesn’t just happen overnight; it is a planned process of elimination done slowly by an authoritarian regime! In Israel’s case today it is not Hitler but by radical Islamic terrorist Nations AND Iran’s PROXY Nations! You see, the enemy is patient, cunning, evil and waiting for the right moment! We cannot overlook the seriousness of opposing Israel. The Scriptures reveal that individuals or Nations that stand against Israel face dire consequences. This truth reminds us of the importance of aligning ourselves with God’s will, which always supports His people!

Remember the “Frog in the boiling pot” story? Do we just sit back like the frog in the “boiling pot? NO, our inability to detect gradual change …can lead us to become prisoners of our own circumstances! We MUST stay aware and stay alert of what is taking place and PRAY!

As Judea-Christian Believers (who believe Israel has a Biblical right to their Land) around the world who stand with Israel are often characterized by the Media as religious fanatics, haters of science, hypocrites, self-righteous, old-fashioned, among other names! Jews are “stereotyped” by Islam, the Liberal Western World as well as those who hate Israel and labelled as “Settlers!” Which by the way is far from truth! Since 7 October 2023 Jews are “vilified” by Islam and Western Liberals, Antisemites, downplaying the Holocaust …called “white refugees” and “privileged!” There are many more EVIL things said about Jews! And, of course, ALL of these accusations are NOT true – simply hateful Antisemitism. We realize that NOT everyone engages in this “stereotyping!” The general climate of this sort of stereotyping sets the foundation for the next stage!

Stage 2. “Vilify” or “symbolizing” the targeted group for alleged crimes or misconduct as the “stereotyping” grew in intensity… Names or other Symbols (such as “swastikas” or SONGS calling for the killing of a group of people) made legal by a ruling government! Today, Jews are seen as “land grabbers” (something Afrikaner farmers and minorities in South Africa can also relate to) …even though the Land of Israel has been the home for Jews for thousands of years). The war victories that allowed Israel to reclaim adjacent lands were considered Israeli aggression, so they are today seen as “colonizers or settlers!”  “For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you (Israel) will perish; it will be utterly ruined.” – Isaiah 60:12.

Jews and Christians who do NOT “toe the line” in the way the world views them …through eyes of Islam, Socialism, Communism, Liberalism and the current woke “cultural revolution” are described as “colonists,” intolerant, hateful, bigoted, unfair, Islamophobic, homophobic and just plain mean and basically bad people. Consistently, the far-left Liberals disregard the Bible as a historical document and discount archaeological evidence that supports Israel’s right to their God-given Land. Students at prominent Western Universities are influenced by pro-Islamic propagandists, portraying Palestinians as victims …but “vilifying” Israel for a war they did NOT start. They also choose to ignore historical and Biblical truth! These Antisemite Institutions fostered anti-Israel rhetoric by allowing protests that threatened American Jews and led to more antisemitism on campuses.

Stage 3. “Marginalize” or “Discriminate” the targeted group’s role in society! The aggressor, leader of nation or group uses; law, custom, and political power to deny the rights of the persecuted group and they are now seen as second-class citizens. The dominant group is driven by an exclusionary ideology that would deprive less powerful groups of their rights. It legitimizes the victimization of weaker groups or minorities! Examples include (1) the Nuremberg Laws of 1935 in Nazi Germany, which stripped Jews of their German citizenship, and prohibited their employment by the government and by universities. (2) The (false) premise that the Church and the faith are very bad and even harmful to human dignity and freedom, the critics proceed in the next stage to relegate the role of the Church to the margins of Society.

To many in secularized culture Christianity is seen as something that must go! In this stage religion becomes increasingly unacceptable and intolerable that Pastors or anyone should mention God, the Bible or Pray publicly …or in any way bring his or her Christian faith to bear on matters of public policy. Do not even think of mentioning Yeshua (Jesus) as a JEW or of publicly thanking Him in valedictory address …and we could very well have a judge forbid us to do so under penalty of law …and dare NOT mention the fact that Yeshua (Jesus) even came from Israel or the origin of the Bible, Prophets, Disciples etc.

Stage 4. “Criminalize” or “dehumanize” the targeted group or its works… Some of these attempts to “criminalize” Churches and the Christian faith have been successfully rebuffed in the courts, but the number and frequency of the lawsuits, and the time and cost involved with fighting them impose a huge burden. It is clear that attempts to criminalize Christian behaviour is a growth sector in this culture and it signals the beginning of the steady erosion of religious liberty.

Stage 5. Persecute the targeted group outright - those who stand with Israel and the Christian Faith… If current trends continue, this is already in the planning of godless, evil and corrupt Globalist Leaders as well as Islamic radical terrorist supporting Nations! Christians especially Pastors -Religious leaders may NOT be far from facing heavy fines and/or incarceration. The persecution takes on forms that are increasingly heavy …from the loss of employment, lawsuits, large fines, and ultimately jail for those who refuse to comply. Is this unlikely? Alarmist? No! Well, Stages 1-4 are pretty well in place. One may wish to "whistle past the graveyard," but it looks like we are pretty well being setup for Stage 5. You decide!

This is why we need to prepare God has slated some ages, and place and people for persecution since day one. Jesus did not exempt himself from this and, enduring the world’s hatred told us we would be hated too (John 15:18-25). And the Book of Revelation says: "If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people." – Revelation 13:10. But NEVER forget: Those who suffer for proclaiming the faith, and for living it boldly, are of highest honour in the Kingdom of God. Stand firm in your faith.

We most sincerely believe that God WILL bless you for your faithfulness and love for His land and chosen people. God’s Word is true! He IS watching to see how the Nations are treating His people. God will have mercy on Israel through Gentile believers acting as mediators towards them. This is one of the most amazing revelations ever given to the Church – an opportunity to do something that carries the highest priority in the heart of God. Yet, sadly, so few have seen the potential and the rewards of serving God in this manner - as agents of mercy to Israel and the Jewish people! Israel was and still is despised today and a despised Nation continually turning away from God …BUT nothing ever altered the purpose of God for that Nation. The "despised element" is always a noticeable element in the purpose of God. When the Saviour of the world came, He came of that "despised Nation" (and just like Israel) He Himself was "…despised and rejected by men." And there is that despised element; "…things that are despised God has chosen," - 1 Corinthians 1:28.
