Jerusalem’s Jubilee in a Jubilee Year!

Shalom Partner and Friend of Israel,

There is NO city in the world like Jerusalem! On the 07th of June, 2017 (Biblical - Hebrew Year 5777) – Jerusalem will celebrate a Jubilee – 50 years since it was liberated miraculously by the Israeli forces with the swift and complete victory over 5 Arab Armies. 1947/8 was when Israel was reborn as a Nation after 2,000 years …just as God promised …and Israel and Jerusalem was liberated from the Turks and the Gentile nations.

This year the Feast of “Shavuot – Pentecost” falls on the 30th May - 1st June (5th – 6th Sivan) before the Jerusalem liberation jubilee. The dates are very prophetic, LOOK AGAIN …liberated on 6/7 (7th June) in 1967 – in the Hebrew year 5727 on the 28th of Iyyar. “Shavuot -  Pentecost was after the liberation of Jerusalem on the 5th – 6th Sivan (13th - 14th June, 1967). God reaffirmed His ownership of Jerusalem and Israel in 5727 (1967)! It certainly is interesting that these major Biblical events concerning Israel coincideded with Shavuot - Pentecost considering that it was the birth of the church. Jerusalem is mentioned in Luke 21:24 as being the very center of the ultimate modern-day End-Time event, “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” The times of the Gentiles were fulfilled in 1967 as Jerusalem is back in Jewish hands after 2,000 years! Israel’s Jubilee Years were: 1917, 1967 and this year 2017!

Just 19 years prior to 7th June 1967 - Israel was re-born in one day, that being May 14th, 1948 as this event fell on the eve of Shavuot - Pentecost.”  The re-birth of Israel is significant, realizing that Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) fulfilled the Spring “Feast of Passover,” Unleavened Bread and First Fruits as being the slain Lamb on Passover. Yeshua (Jesus) was placed in the grave just before Unleavened Bread and finally resurrecting on the Feast of First-fruits when He arose from the grave overcoming death.  Fifty days later, the Holy Spirit indwelt the 120 disciples on “Shavuot - Pentecost.”  There would have been a span of almost 2,000 years from that time of Pentecost approximately 34 AD until the re-birth of Israel on the eve of “Shavuot – Pentecost” in May, 1948.

God is about to show Himself to His people in tangible ways that we have never seen before... God is revealing Himself to us and understand that when we see Him we see our future. (“But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see Him as He is.” 1 John 3:3) The very sight of God transforms us, and as we align with Him we align with who are going to become and what is to come. So, if we see God in this key time of history we truly believe He will show us everything we need to see, because Yeshua (Jesus) is coming again carrying with Him all things. In this current Jubilee year 5777 (2016/7) so much is happening and we are witnessing a culmination of prophetic years for Israel: 1917 (100), 1947/8 (70) and 1967 (50) and all concern Jerusalem.  God is revealing to us the revelation light by which we can navigate through these seasons ahead.

Yeshua (Jesus) said in Matthew 24:34, "Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened!" If Yeshua was the 77 generation according to Luke 3:23 …is there any reason to believe that He was not referring to "His" generation? The Lord was after all talking about the end of Jerusalem and the coming judgment. He said "My words will not pass away" In Matthew 24:42, He said… “Keep on the watch, because you do not know what day the LORD is coming!” God is revealing Himself to us through Genealogy 5777: As we look at the first 10 generations; Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan, Mahalal’el, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah - we see a prophetic pattern being laid out. We look at 10 because it is government and is both “decree and declaration.” Let’s look at LAMECH. Why Lamech? Because the bible tells us Lamech lived to be 777 years old. (Genesis 5:31) Historians tell us that 5 years later came the flood. (7 7 7 5) The name Lamech means “to be low, to be humiliated.” Now the person who became low and was humiliated for us was Yeshua ((Jesus)! Wow! Look at it again! Yeshua was “to be low, to be humiliated.”  Yeshua (Jesus) was the 77th in the line of genealogy according to Luke 3:23-28). Why 77 generations? The answer lies in Genesis 5.24 (interestingly - the first book of Enoch, a collection of texts that claim to be written by Enoch it also confirms that he was “taken away”) where it is written that …'Enoch was taken away’ - instead of 'he died' (Genesis 5.24). This Bible passage has caused many to think that Enoch had ascended to heaven and had written reports about it. In any case, it is noteworthy that he did not die a natural death, that he was a good man, and died by the expressed will of God. Does that make you think of anything, anyone in particular? In other words, in Genesis we see the Day of Judgment was to take place 70 generations after Enoch. Now this patriarch lived in the 7th generation, and we may therefore conclude and assumed that the end of history would be in the 77th generation. 77 – Means - “double-edge sword!” Yes! Our Lord, Yeshua’s First Coming changed everything …and so will His Second Coming!

In this prophetic Jubilee Year 5777 - genealogy will play a significant role in our lives spiritually. We always see ourselves from the perspective of generational curses …but we are going to see the benefits of our family lines. Generational blessings are coming to us in a time of 7 (a time of perfecting). Why is it that we bind and restrain the workings of our generations by only acknowledging curses? Now is the time to walk in the blessings of Christ! The pattern we have seen here is that Yeshua (Jesus) the one who was made low and humiliated dies then comes a cleansing of the land due to sin, 2000 years ago. The promise to never cleanse or destroy the earth by way of a flood was fulfilled in Christ, who restored our access to “living water” that does not run dry …but cleanses us and removes that which is not of God like in the days of Noah. So, this time we a reversal of 7 7 7 5 where in the end the water came to us and now we see 5 7 7 7 where a way has been made to bring us to the water! We can begin to see prophetic markers and they are indicators to tell us that we are coming to our final destination. Yes, we know that no one knows the day nor the hour when the Lord will return …but He is marking the “times and seasons” prophetically as we approach our destination. We must prepare for the season and the hour of 7 seals, 7 vials, and 7 trumps from the book of Revelation. We believe we may even see in 5777 there will be an alignment of all these things as we began to further walk into biblical prophecy. The time is short and there is an urgency in the realm of the spirit as we approach our destiny we are being updated by the Holy Spirit of God who is leading, guiding, and directing His people. Jerusalem is the key to unwinding prophetically what God is doing and we must keep our eyes on Jerusalem’s Jubilee in this Jubilee Year!

Why is Jerusalem so important today? Palestinians Arabs (and Muslim world) claim that the Land of Israel, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount are the rightful property of Islam. That’s just plain hogwash! A thousand years before the false prophet Mohammed was even born, God had revealed in a Bible prophecy that the Temple Mount, Jerusalem, and the so-called West Bank (Judea and Samaria) would be restored to Jewish sovereignty in 1967. Jerusalem is not mentioned even once in the Quran. Jerusalem’s significance to God is mentioned hundreds of times in the Old and New Testaments - and as for the first five books (of Moses) of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy) it is true that the word “Jerusalem” does not appear there. Most simply because it was not yet called Jerusalem. So here's another reason Jerusalem isn't mentioned explicitly in the first five books of the Bible as the holy city since It hadn't yet been revealed as such. Maimonides, (Jewish historian) writing around 800 years ago, offers three reasons why it did not reveal the identity of the holy city: “If the nations had learned that this place would express the highest Jewish ideals, they would have united in an effort to occupy and prevent the Jews from ever controlling it. (Sound familiar?) If they had known of Jerusalem's spiritual stature, they may have tried to take advantage of its spiritual nature by making it into a center of idol worship. Each of the twelve tribes would have desired to have Jerusalem in their borders, and this would lead to disunity. Once the Jews had conquered and divided the land, the above ceased to be considerations.”

Under Jebusite rule and earlier, Jerusalem was divided into two cities, the western part called Jeru (Yere) and the eastern part called Salem (Shalem). Both of these names do appear in the first five books of the Bible (Genesis 14:18; 21:14). Around the time of Joshua's conquest, the Amorites consolidated the two halves of the city, and they combined the two names: Jeru-salem. From this point on in history, our Bible refers to Jerusalem countless times. Furthermore, the Bible refers 19 times to Jerusalem as … “the place that God will choose” as the centre for His people (Deuteronomy 12:11, 14) The Prophets Samuel and Gad finally reveal to King David that this chosen place is Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. So, in conclusion for thousands of years - Jerusalem played a prominent part in Jewish history and writings more than two thousand years before Islam's rise and the writing of the Quran, which makes NO mention of Jerusalem!

“O God, the heathen have come into thy inheritance; they have defiled thy holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in ruins…” Psalm 79.

Don’t dare touch God’s City - Jerusalem…! Nine years, almost to the day, after Romans destroyed God’s house – the 2nd Temple in Jerusalem …God destroyed the luxurious watering holes of the Roman elite. Was this God’s revenge and did anyone at the time see it that way? Did anyone connect the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD with the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD? The eruption of Mount Vesuvius that destroyed Pompeii, Herculaneum, Stabia and other nearby sites occurred on August 24 or 25 in 79 AD. According to historians the quakes lasted for several days. But, the dates were close enough to raise the question …were these two catastrophic events connected? Frequent rumblings, some of them subterranean, that resembled thunder, and some on the surface, that sounded like bellowing as the sea also joined in the roar and the sky re-echoed it as the mountains were tumbling in ruins with huge stones being hurled. From the very summits, came a great quantity of fire and endless smoke, so that the whole atmosphere was obscured and the sun was entirely hidden …as if eclipsed! The day was turned into night and light into darkness! Inconceivable quantity of ashes was blown out, which covered both sea and land and filled all the air  and it buried two entire cities, Herculaneum and Pompeii and the amount of dust, together was so great that some of it reached Africa, Syria, Egypt …and it also reached Rome, filling the air overhead and darkened the sun. Historians recall that the people did not know and could not imagine what had happened, but, like those close at hand, believed that the whole world was being turned upside down, that the sun was disappearing into the earth and that the earth was being lifted to the sky! The tone is plainly apocalyptic and like “Sodom and Gommorah! The smell of sulphur announced the flames, and the flames themselves …onto the ships, darker and denser the closer as they went. It rained bits of pumice, and rocks that were burned and shattered by the fire. There were some so afraid of death that they prayed for death and many raised their hands to their gods, and even more believed that there were no gods any longer …and that this was the one last unending night with the darkness of the smell of sulphur!

It was in 586 BC when Nebuchadnezzar looted and destroyed the 1st Temple in Jerusalemthey razed the city along with its walls and exiled a large number of Judah's ruling elite. After Nebuchadnezzar died, Babylonia went into decline in a very short time. Babylon was a very strong city. Two thick walls and a large moat protected the city, making it extremely difficult for an enemy to attack. However, Babylon was divided into two parts. The larger part of the city was built on the east bank of the Euphrates River, and a smaller part of the city was on the west bank of the river. Babylon had strong walls, but it also relied on the Euphrates River and the moat around the city to protect it. The Lord says, “I am bringing a destructive wind against Babylonia and its people. I will send foreigners to destroy Babylonia like a wind that blows straw away. When that day of destruction comes, they will attack from every side and leave the land bare, Jeremiah 51:1-2. The Greek historian Herodotus, who wrote about Babylon about 100 years later, described how Cyrus’ army captured the city. Part of the army went north of Babylon and dug a trench from the Euphrates River to a nearby marsh. When the army connected the trench to the Euphrates River, much of the water in the river flowed toward the marsh, while only a little water continued to flow toward Babylon. While the Babylonians were confidently celebrating a feast, the strong river and moat protecting the city became very shallow, and the Medes and Persians were able to enter the city (Herodotus 1.191). They captured the city without a battle, and Darius the Mede was put in charge (Daniel 5:31). And Darius the Median took Babylon! The Babylonian population actually welcomed the invasion of Cyrus II of Persia.  When he came in 539 BC, they let him into the city gates without opposition. But today, Babylon is still an empty city. In times of peace tourists can go see the partially rebuilt ruins of Babylon that have remained empty for almost 2,000 years. The city is exactly like Isaiah predicted: “It will never be inhabited, nor will it be settled from generation to generation,” Isaiah 13:20. Warning to Israel’s enemies DON’T mess with Jerusalem!

The Romans destroyed the Second Temple (Herod’s Temple) on the same date on the 9th AV (Tisha b’Av) that the Babylonians had destroyed the First Temple (Solomon’s Temple) in 586 BC. Even today the 9th of AV is the date on which observant Jews, sitting on the floor of their synagogues; still mourn the destruction of the First Temple, Solomon’s Temple, in 586 BC and the Second Temple, Herod’s Temple, in 70 AD.

For two-thousand years, even before the time that the Romans expelled the Jewish people from their homeland in the Land of Israel, Jews around the world have been closing their annual Passover observance by shouting …“Next year in Jerusalem!” In that phrase, the yearning of the Jewish people for return to the land of their forefathers, and for the time of the Messiah, is expressed around Seder tables year after year. The first part of that hope was realized with the partition of “Palestine” by the United Nations in 1947, followed by the founding of the State of Israel in 1948. Then, on June 7, 1967, the third day of the Six-Day War, Israeli troops liberated the Old City of Jerusalem and its sacred Temple Mount from foreign control …an event that brought the longed for Jewish holy sites under sovereign control of an independent Jewish people living in Eretz Israel. The dawning of the Age of Messiah suddenly started to seem like an imminent possibility. The capture of Jerusalem by Israel was considered a “miracle” by both Jews and non-Jews back in 1967. The tiny nation of Israel had overcome impossible odds to defeat the armies of five large Arab nations arrayed against it, nations whose Islamic leaders had sworn to push the Jewish people into the sea. With the suddenness of the liberation event and by the scope of the overwhelming victory by Israel over its enemies, many people were convinced that the coming of the age of the Messiah was truly at hand. Israel celebrated its victory with singing and dancing, and much of the world rejoiced with them for a season.

Jerusalem is undoubtedly sacred in the Old Testament period and eternally prophetic in the New Testament. Unlike any other city, God endorsed David’s choice of Jerusalem and established Solomon’s Temple as the place where ‘His name dwelt’ (1 Kings 8:29); Mount Zion, the mountain on which the Temple was built, became a symbol of God’s dwelling among His people. This was affirmed by Yeshua (Jesus) that Jerusalem was ‘the city of the Great King’ (Matthew 5:35) and the Temple was truly God’s ‘house’ (Mark 11:17; John 2:16). Speaking to the Samaritan woman he affirmed Jerusalem’s centrality (John 4:22). Yeshua (Jesus) wept over Jerusalem

“And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it,  saying, “Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.  For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.” Luke 19:41-44

Looking back at the history of Israel and especially Jerusalem is so inspiring and one can only be amazed at God’s hand in everything... Between 1948 and 1967 Jerusalem – Israel’s capital was a vibrant city with people just getting about with their lives even in a city of ruin and lack because of years of neglect under Jordanian rule. In 1948 the siege on western Jerusalem was lifted and new hope arrived as convoys moved freely along the “Burma Road” a narrow corridor through the hills of Jerusalem linking them to the rest of the country always surrounded by Jordanian snipers perched on the wall of the Old City of Jerusalem.  Life was very difficult for the newly established Jewish State! Arab artillery batteries strategically placed were watching from the hilltops every move of those living in the Jewish side of the town. Windows were always boarded up as many homes and businesses were still under curfew at night. Can you just imagine how difficult life must have been for Jews and Christians, even as Israel still had yet to be built up to the miracle we now see as Modern Israel. But, the hardship of Jewish people was so painful in beloved Jerusalem - being separated from the Old City and the Western Wall (Mount Moriah)! Sadly, the Jewish Quarter as we know it today was emptied at gun point during the fighting in 1948 and Jewish graves desecrated and Synagogues destroyed as Arab squatters built tin shack hovels in front of the Western Wall and the area reduced to a slum with the smell of urination.

The Arabs and Muslims NEVER valued Jerusalem and before 1948 when Israel was still called “Palestine by the British and the Western Wall or Temple Mount had very little value to them. A long line of bunkers, concrete walls and minefields with barbed wire fences were spread untidily along a “no-man’s” land …literally cutting the city of Jerusalem in half and the main road to Jaffa Gate dead-ended into a war-zone. Not only did the Jewish people suffer under Jordanian rule but so did the ancient Christian communities face abuse …the Old City and Bethlehem were only open to them at Easter and Christmas. Christians were forced to teach the Quran to children in church run schools and could never own properties! And, because of these oppressive policies half of the 25,000 Arab Christians in East Jerusalem abandoned the city between 1949 and 1967. So, today we can see how significant 1967 are and that the 6th Day War was a God ordained time. This year 70 years ago since 1947/8 Israel became a State. And, this year 50 years since 1967Jerusalem celebrates a “Jubilee” in a “Jubilee Year 5577!” It is also another important anniversary in this “Jubilee Year” 5777 (2017) it is 100 years ago since British General Edmund Allenby liberated the city and Israel from another Muslim ruler – the Ottoman Turks. These are two major milestones in the history of modern Jerusalem and certainly a testimony that there is a God ordained “Jubilee” cycle over the City of Gold – the City of our God, propelling it forward into its ultimate destiny and plan of the Almighty. Today we can clearly witness that God Himself works in “Jubilee” cycles. In Leviticus 25 - we see that all lands were to revert to their original owners during a “Jubilee.”

What does this mean…? This is a very exciting time! It means that if Jerusalem experienced a dramatic liberation 100 years ago, and then another 50 years laterwe can expect yet another amazing release for the City of Jerusalem this very year of 2017. God is slowly, but surely, removing ALL the Gentile rule, over His City, Jerusalem …so that it can fulfill all that the Word of God promised …and reach the destiny back in Jewish hands were it always belonged! The destiny of Jerusalem is so divinely purposed to be the throne of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and a “House of Prayer for all Nations (Isaiah 56:7; Luke 19:46; Psalm 2:6; Isaiah 2:3; Isaiah 24:23, Revelation 14:1). Today the Lord is once more building up “Zion” for redemptive purposes and He is doing this through the Jewish people – so there is NO doubt that today we see very intense diplomatic battles over the fate of Jerusalem by Gentile Nations - but sincerely it is a “spiritual” battle for the heart and soul of Jerusalem. It did not surprise us at all when against all odds President Donald Trump got elected at this very crucial time in history. You see, many previous US Presidents whilst still candidates made promises to Israel but never meant to keep their promises and only wanted votes based on futile promises. Remember always that God sees everything even the very motives of the heart. We believe that newly elected President Donald Trump expressed a sincere desire to move the American Embassy from Tel Aviv (which is not the capital of Israel) to the true capital Jerusalem. We pray that President Trump will keep His promise and make history by moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem. Should the US Embassy be moved many Arab and Islamic nations will be enraged as Muslims threaten violent response …but in this “Jubilee” year we can all pray for and expect God’s divine favour so that the entire City of Jerusalem can revert in completeness to its original owners, the Jews, and for God’s divine plan and purposes of redemption!

The word “Zion” appears 170 times in the Bible and mostly it refers to Jerusalem In Hebrew the word “Tzion” means a “burnt or parched place" which points us specifically to Mount Zion, where the Temple and altar of sacrifice stood and is first mentioned in Genesis 14:18 and Genesis 22:2 …and this mountain is always tied up to God’s redemptive purposes where the Lord eventually placed His “Shekinah” presence or glory and gave His life as a randsom for our sin on this very mountain in Jerusalem. We know that the Word of God says that “the Deliverer” will come out of Mount Zion (Romans 11:26; Psalm 14:7; Psalm 53:6 and Isaiah 59:20-21). In the very place where they rejected the Messiah – they (Jews) will now receive Him as King! So we see a period that is significant in relation to God’s dealings with the people of Israel, and that is 50 years. Every 50th year in Israel was the “Year of Jubilee” when all the land was to be restored to the original owner; all debts were to be cancelled; and all slaves were set free. It was the year of “release and deliverance” and a time for celebration and joy when families were reunited and given a fresh lease on life! In addition, the 50 is associated with the Feast of Pentecost (meaning 50th day). Fifty days from Passover on the 16th of the month of Abib (The name of the month was changed to Nisan meaning - ‘their flight’ - after the Babylonian Captivity (Nehemiah 2:1) March/April was Passover and the Feast of Pentecost occuring May/June depending upon the position of the new moon (Hebrew months in ancient Israel were based on a lunar calendar) and the barley and wheat harvest. It is interesting that the giving of the Law on Mount Sinai and the coming of the Holy Spirit both occured on the day of the Feast of Shavuot /Pentecost.

So did June 7, 1967 start a “Jubilee” countdown to the Rapture…?  While we are not absolutely sure (nor could anyone be), we have come to strongly believe that the secret to this countdown is hidden in plain sight and that combining Jerusalem and the Jubilee reveals the secret countdown! We certainly are a privileged generation to see all these prophetic promises of God coming to pass before our eyes. Daniel 9:25 states the following timing:  “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks…” Wow! The extreme importance of both Jerusalem and a “Jubilee” countdown to the Lord is right there in the Bible, so obvious as to be hidden in plain sight for centuries. This has even been hidden in plain sight …in the all-important Daniel 9 for 1,000’s of years and the 7 weeks simply once again highlights that the Jubilee of Jerusalem is EXTREMELY important to the Lord (and therefore should be to us His Bride as well). However, to understand why, it is important to see what the 50th year of Jubilee means to the Lord and then compare this to what the Rapture is outlined to do by the same Lord - a God that NEVER changes.

Let’s see what the Lord says about the Jubilee…  The details of the Jubilee is fully outlined in detail in Leviticus, but Leviticus 25, 8-13 holds the key, outlined as follows: “You shall count seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, so that the time of the seven weeks of years shall give you forty-nine years. Then you shall sound the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month. On the Day of Atonement you shall sound the trumpet throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of you shall return to his clan. That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of itself nor gather the grapes from the undressed vines. For it is a jubilee. It shall be holy to you. You may eat the produce of the field. In this year of jubilee each of you shall return to his property.” Here what we see happens: (1)  The Jubilee begins with a trumpet sound (2)  Every person is returned to their family (3)  Each person’s possessions are fully returned (4) The Jubilee is a time of great rest, so much so that no sowing nor reaping is even allowed. And, here we also see that the Scripture says what exactly happens in the 50th year of Jubilee (the year after the “7 x 7 weeks” from Daniel 9:25 as reiterated in the above Leviticus passage).

Now let us compare the above to the Rapture… Here are the two most quoted Rapture related Scriptures in the New Testament: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and Corinthians 15:51-53; There are incredible similarity in these passages on the Rapture to what happens in the 50th year of the Jubilee.  The following illustrates this; (1) It begins with a trumpet sound:  As we have seen both the 50th year of Jubilee and the Rapture begins with a trumpet sound! Jubilee:  “cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound” and Rapture:  “and with the trump of God”, “at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound.” Jubilee: Every person is returned to their family.  Rapture: family is the body of Christ. Jubilee: both those who have already died and those who have moved away.  Rapture: both the dead and the living in Christ are brought together at once.  We are returned to our family in full. Jubilee:  “you shall return every man to his family.” Rapture:  “and the dead in Christ shall rise first: -then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds.” This includes our health and youth, whether rich or poor.  We are raised incorruptible and immortal.  All is returned to us in an instant. Jubilee:  “you shall return every man unto his possession.” Rapture:  “For this corruptible must put on Incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality” - It is a time of great rest (no sowing or reaping is even allowed):  After the Rapture, we will be in Heaven!  In Heaven, there is no need to work. Jubilee:  “you shall not sow, neither reap!” Rapture:  “and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” Only God knows! And time will tell! Maranatha Lord!

Since the miraculous Yom Kippur – 6 Day War in 1967 now 50 years ago, the world, including much of world Jewry, has forgotten the euphoria and sense of optimism that surrounded the liberation of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount …and, for many Israelis, Messianic hopes have been dimmed by the reality of coping with daily life in a troubled Middle East. Even more disheartening is the lack of understanding among both Jews and non-Jews about the transcendent importance of what happened in 1967. The liberation of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount was the fulfilment of an Ancient Biblical Prophecy recorded more than 2,500 years ago in Daniel 8:13-14. The prophecy clearly predicted both the liberation event …and the time that the liberation event would take place.

The Balfour declaration of 1917 and the 1967 liberation of Jerusalem make headlines once again at the UN. During the week of 26th of September 2016 the United Nations debated the Balfour Declaration and the events of the Jubilee period following culminating in 1967. Palestinian leader Abbas is threatening to sue the British government over the Balfour declaration and the UN denies that there is any connection between the Jews and the Temple Mount. He has also threatened Israel should US President Donald Trump move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem! Nothing can stop God’s plan for Jerusalem!

Palestinian Arabs and Muslims say that would give their lives as “martyrs” for their god Allah, to protect and possess their so-called third holiest site to Islam where their Al-Aksa Mosque is today situated in Jerusalem.  The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is becoming more and more a centre of controversy. To the Jews, it the most holy site in all of the world and the site of the First and Second Biblical, Jewish Temples once stood and is actually Mount Moriah. Muslims who are ready to die to protect and possess this site would fit a scenario that will be played out in the Last Days according to Bible prophecy. Muslims don’t realize that they are actually setting the stage for Bible Prophecy to be fulfilled and their destruction. They also don’t realize that in the end - the God of Israel, the only true God of Jews and Christians - the God of the Bible is true to His Word and has promised that those who come against Jerusalem WILL be severally harmed (Zechariah 12:2-3) – just read this chapter further! The Prophet Zechariah said that the Temple Mount would be the centre of contention in the End Times; Zechariah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Joel said that the Moslem world would come to Jerusalem to take it from the Jewish people (Isaiah 51:3, Ezekiel 36:35, and Joel 2:3). Ezekiel also wrote of a temple on the Temple Mount for the Messiah to rule and reign from that location (Ezekiel 40 - 46). Ezekiel's temple is the Temple for the kingdom period in the future!

The next (3rd) Temple to be erected on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem will be the one standing during the seven year Tribulation period; Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Revelation 11:1. However, this next temple will NOT be built until after the Rapture and true believers depart from this earth for the heavens. Until that time, no one can build the 3rd Temple not even Prime Minister Netanyahu.

We most sincerely believe that God WILL bless you for your faithfulness and love for His land and His chosen people. God’s Word is true! He IS watching to see how the nations are treating His people. God will have mercy on Israel through Gentile believers acting as mediators towards them… This is one of the most amazing revelations ever given to the church – an opportunity to do something that carries the highest priority in the heart of God. Yet… sadly, so few have seen the potential and the rewards of serving God in this manner - as agents of mercy to Israel and the Jewish people! Israel was and still is despised today… and a despisable nation continually turning away from God but nothing ever altered the purpose of God for that nation. The despised element is always a noticeable element in the purpose of God. When the Saviour of the world came, He came of that despised nation; like IsraelHe Himself was “despised and rejected by men,”and there is that despised element, “…things that are despised God has chosen,” 1 Corinthians 1:28. Now more than at any time is the time to support Israel and the Jewish people - the Lord’s Brethren! We are witnessing the nations and people turning their backs on Israel. Thank you for your generous support!

We hope that you enjoy and become more informed by our work. We serve an awesome God and we are humbled by this opportunity to bring you this information. With Shalom to you and your family always,
