We would like to do a Tribute to the Nation of Israel in this very "Time of WAR!" We always Pray for, Financially support, and bless Israel unconditionally! We do not always agree with everything the government does BUT always agree with God’s Prophetic plan for Israel as it affects ALL the Nations! Pray4Zion and partners have a unique calling since 2007 to; STAND with Israel and with Messianic believers, Congregation, Creche and School, Orphans, Holocaust Survivors and the IDF Soldiers.

Pray4Zion always STANDS upon God’s Word! It is Biblically correct to financially bless God’s Land and people in Israel …especially more so now after the evil, cruel attack in history upon His chosen people. Many have lost everything in these very difficult days of "great HATRED" for God’s Chosen people – the Jews! The hatred for Israel and the Jews (and Christians too) is because it reminds them of the God of Israel – the God of the Bible. Never over past 75-Years has it been worse for Israel - since it’s re-birth in 1948. Israelis are fighting a WAR against extreme darkness and EVIL such that the world has NEVER seen in our lifetimes. We are so grateful to ALL our Pray4Zion Partners for standing firm with and supporting needs in Israel as we cannot do this without you; "May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge." – Ruth 2:12.

Few things we need to know for certain as we witness the current events…

Israel became a Nation on May, 14th 1948 and the End-time's clock started to tick on that day; “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” - Isaiah 66:8.

Israel’s Nation has always had many enemies and they all have one goal and that is to annihilate Israel! “They have said; Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” - Psalm 83:4.

Damascus’ ruin is Prophesied in the Bible; “The Burden of Damascus; “Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.” – Isaiah 17:1.

God’s Covenant with Abraham and his descendants are un-wavering. Wars are a part of the End-time “signs.”

Yeshua (Jesus) told us about them in; Matthew 24; Luke 21; Mark 13. The hoof-beats of the Tribulation are getting louder each passing day and simply means that the Rapture is sooner than we all realize (Revelation 3:10).  Israel is God's time clock!

We are reminded in Ecclesiastes 3:8 that WAR preceded PEACE. The only real peace will be when Yeshua (Jesus) the “Prince of Peace” returns…

As we write this month’s teaching our hearts are saddened and in fact broken unable to even comprehend the immense suffering endured by the Jewish people done to them by the Arab Palestinian terrorists of Hamas in Gaza! The attack was horrific, inhumane, savagery inflicted upon innocent Israelis. It is simply mind-blowing to think that such EVIL could be done to another human being. The attacks were on innocent babies, children, youth, men, women, and elderly is simply demonic and plan of Satan to destroy God’s people and to stop the Second Coming of Christ. The Hamas Islamic “Jihad” terrorists “surprise” attack happened on the 50^th Yom Kippur War Anniversary (06/07^th October 2023) - in the early hours of Saturday (a “Shabbat”) morning in Israel. The Israelis were also celebrating one of the “holiest” and most joyous days on this Sabbath and the last Feast Day (8^th Day ‘Simchat Torah’ or ‘Rejoicing in the Torah’) of The Feast of Sukkot Tabernacles.

Hamas” is described in Genesis 6:11 as the “violence” that covers the earth that led to Noah and the flood! Yeshua (Jesus) said, “…but as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Check out each Hebrew word - In the Days of Noah ”Violence” = “Hamas!” As the world watched in horror what was happening in Israel on Social Media, Palestinians were handing out sweets and their flags lifted in victory across the Nations together with their sympathetic (pathetic sounds better) supporters! How could anyone celebrate with the Hamas Jihadists their slaughtering, raping, torturing, and beheading or burning alive of babies, children, youth, and elderly in Israel? This will NO doubt have consequences! These cruel acts were committed against Israelis simply because they were Jewish and most certainly there are now more children left as Orphans, families destroyed as their loved-ones have been killed. “O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God! For behold, your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have raised their heads. They lay crafty plans against your people; they consult together against your treasured ones. They say, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!” For they conspire with one accord; against you they make a covenant!” – Psalm 83:1-18.

Israelis are currently going through great heartache and it is a very terrible time of torture not knowing when or where the next attack will in fact take place on their land or homes and in some cases whether hostages – family members will be released alive! The horrific attack on the 07^th October, 2023 was very well planned by the enemies of Israel over the past 10 years to take place in God’s Land and upon His people. Hamas in Gaza, and Hezbollah in Lebanon are Militant terrorist groups and are well funded by Iran, Turkey, Qatar, and other Islamic Nations. God is clearly watching; “Violence (Hamas) will not be heard again in your land, Nor devastation or destruction within your borders; But you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.” - Isaiah 60:18.

A yearly, Music Festival attended by mostly youth near Israel’s border with Gaza saw some of the first casualties in Hamas’ attack and as the young people were raped, tortured and of those trying to flee were shot. We are very familiar with this joyous event as Julie and I have done outreaches here! It is a joyful, International festival and thousands attend as Israeli youth come from across Israel and are NOT only from the south. This year’s event was billed as a celebration of; “friends and peace” but sadly it ended in a massacre instead! Some who attended this festival and escaped the horror stated; “You could first hear the bullets ricocheting off the cars. It was like a ‘Call of Duty’ scene. There was shooting everywhere and it felt lie prey running from a predator!” Those who could make it out and tried to escape in their cars but found themselves trapped between other vehicles, and were sadly gunned down like animals in their car seats! 260 young Israelis were murdered here alone!

A booklet that was found on the body of a Hamas terrorist who was killed in Israeli territory… It was like an “operating manual” on how to enter Israeli citizens' yards, homes, kibbutz, city, moshav …and how to break in there. It described what they should do when they first find the citizens! Torture them! In this booklet it also says exactly how to “torture them” and how to “kidnap them” as well as the stages of the kidnapping and how they were carried out are detailed. *According to the manual, the kidnappers (Hamas terrorist) are required to first create chaos and intimidation through coercion and by blindfolding of the captives, use of electric shocks and execution of any person who may pose a threat or distraction. They were also instructed to collect the captives and use them as “cannon fodder,” if necessary, without distinction of religion, race, age, or sex!  According to the barbaric text, similar to the terrorist organization ISIS, the terrorists are required to document their actions by livestreaming and executing hostages.

The world vowed “NEVER again” after the Holocaust, but it happened AGAIN …and this time was far worse and Sadistically EVIL! The world is in a fallen state and in desperate need of King Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) Rule who is indeed soon returning soon to Jerusalem! ALL the signs He gave are being fulfilled on a daily and hourly basis. The depravity of Hamas is a “demonic” preview of the animal-like behaviour and “Hell on earth that will prevail UNTIL the “restraining power” (Holy Spirit) and the Church of true believers are suddenly removed in the Rapture (Harpazo). The New Testament clearly warns that when the “restrainer” is finally removed, lawlessness will prevail, and the Antichrist will be revealed; “For the mystery of lawlessness (rebellion against divine authority) is already at work; (but it is restrained) only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way. Then the lawless one (the Antichrist) will be revealed and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and bring him to an end by the appearance of His coming.” - 2 Thessalonians 2: 7-8.  Yeshua (Jesus) WILL return again soon, not as a lamb, but as a lion-- in the role of Messiah Ben David! Revelation 5: 5 foretells; "the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed!"

Although various Israeli allies voiced their support for Israel in this un-provoked war, Saudi Arabia was in the process of negotiating a potential diplomatic “PEACE deal” with Israel, brokered by America are also calling for both sides exercise restraint. Israel has the right to defend her Nation!  We must remember that both US Presidents Biden and Obama have sent huge number of finances to Iran …who by the way used those funds to arm Hamas Militants with ammunition and rockets! Iran’s sole purpose is to destroy Israel and murder Jews. The Western Nations sympathetic to the so-called Palestinian cause are certainly playing with fire …and will soon find out that they cannot play with fire and not get burned! After they destroy Israel and kill the Jews then Christians and the Western Nations will be next – it’s all in their Quran! You see anyone not Muslim are “infidels” and so Jihadists see this as their duty to eliminate us …and are trained to do so! You cannot appease those who HATE, and taught from birth to hate Israel and Jews. We should NEVER believe Islam to be a religion of peace - in fact it is a militant cult!

The only country in the world that has NEVER attacked or denounced Israel is INDIA!

This attempted siege of Israel by Hamas Arab terrorists on the 07^th October, 2023 first came from Gaza and then spread to Palestinians from within the land itself from so-called Westbank (which by the way God calls Judea and Samaria). What were the crimes of the Israeli civilians and IDF Soldiers? They were Jewish and that was why they were killed. On this very Anniversary of the Yom Kippur War of 1973 this gruesome planned barbaric attack occurred upon the innocent Israelis in their homes, babies and children either burnt or killed, slaughtered, beheaded …a substantial number of hostages of all ages were taken with no mercy on babies and children! The Islamists terrorists shouted; "Alah Akbar" calling their "moon god" great as blood flowed! It was the worst mass murder upon innocent Jewish people in their God-given homeland since the start of the Holocaust! But only this time it happened in their homeland and NOT in Nazi Germany …and this time they were simply caught off-guard and left at the mercy of their murderers. Truly we are living in Last Days and things are changing rapidly! The world is "Hamas" – violent!

We take comfort that our God is still on the Throne and is very much in control of what is happening in our world today (Zechariah 9-14). Prophecy will be fulfilled! Israel’s enemies are enemies of God and they will soon pay dearly (Joel 3:21). God promised to protect the Nation of Israel. God promised to bless those Nations who bless Israel. But anyone who seeks to harm Israel will be cursed. This is the reason to support Israel. Any nation in the world who seeks to harm Israel will find God’s wrath upon it. God’s wrath will come when He chooses. For some it will not occur until the end of the world (Revelation 18:1-2,24; 20:11-15). Another important passage is found in Genesis 27:29. It has the same idea of Genesis 12:2-3.

Interestingly the Holocaust began on 30^th January, 1933 – 08^th May, 1945. 2023 minus 1933 = 90 years this year!

The Holocaust was the genocide of European Jews during World War II. Between 1941 and 1945, Nazi Germany and its collaborators systematically murdered some six million Jews across German-occupied Europe, around two-thirds of Europe's Jewish population! This time Israel faced onslaught in her own land and is today fighting back!

There has NEVER been a PALESTINIAN Country, Land, Territory or Nation… the Land has ALWAYS belonged to the Israelites of the Bible. Therefore, making them Israeli’s and from the Tribe of Judah being called "Jews!" The land known as Modern day Israel has been populated by the Jewish people since 2000 BC …and here's the timeline to prove that it is rightfully and Biblically the Jewish people’s homeland, as designated by Yahweh:

1900 BC: Abraham chosen by God as the Father of the Jewish Nation. Isaac, Abraham's son, rules over Israel. 1850 BC: Jacob, son of Issac, rules over Israel. 1400 BC: Moses leads the people out of Egypt and back to Israel. 1010 BC: King David unites the 12 tribes into one nation. 970 BC: King Solomon, son of David, builds the first temple structure in Jerusalem. 930 BC: Israel is divided into two kingdoms, the Kingdom of Israel, and the Kingdom of Judah. 800’s BC: The rise of the prophets, God's messengers. 722 BC: Kingdom of Israel is conquered by Assyrians. 605 BC: Kingdom Judah is conquered by the Babylonians. 586 BC: Solomon's (1^st) Temple is destroyed by the Babylonians. 539 BC: Persians conquer the Babylonians and take control of Israel. 538 BC: The Jews return to Israel from exile. 520 BC: The (2^nd) Temple is rebuilt. 450 BC: Reforms made by Ezra and Nehemiah. 433 BC: Malachi is the end of the Prophetic Age.

432 BC: The last group of Jews return from exile.  333 BC: The Greeks conquer the Persian Empire. 323 BC: The Egyptian and Syrian empire take over Israel. 167 BC: Hasmonean's recapture Israel, and the Jews are ruled independently. 70 BC: Romans conquer Israel. 20 BC: King Herod rebuilds the Temple. 6 BC: Yeshua (Messiah Jesus Christ) - a Jew is born in Bethlehem. 70 A.D: Romans destroy the (2^nd) Temple. After that, the people were captives to the Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, and Crusaders.

Through all of these events and timeline the Jewish people continued to live in Israel. There were more or less of them, depending on the centuries, but there was NEVER a time when the Jews didn't live in the land God gave them - Israel. They stayed, they built their communities, they raised their families, practiced their faith and they suffered at the hands of many outside Gentile Rulers, but they always kept their faith. It is what sustains them, even now. In 1948, the UN established the State of Israel, the nation of Jews. We must NEVER buy the Palestinian lies that they are entitled to the land as it simply is not true. Yahweh – God provided a way for his chosen people to live in Israel, as He has for thousands of years.

We must clearly understand that Israel becoming a Nation on the 14^th May, 1948 was VERY Prophetically significant! Israel is God’s Land and people and THEY are God’s End-times "time-clock!" BUT the clock didn’t just begin to tick in 1948! In fact, the clock began to tick 100 years ago, with the; "The League of Nations Mandate for Palestine" requiring Brittain "to put into effect"- "The Balfour Declaration" of 1917 for the establishment of a Homeland for the Jewish people. The "League of Nations Mandate" was written on the 24th July, 1922. On the 29^th September, 1923 it officially came into effect and began the "Jubilee Year" count for the Nation of Israel even though not yet in the Land! That would mean that this year on the 29^th September, 2023 therefore 100 years since the start of the formation of the Nation of Israel.

However, here’s where it now gets VERY interesting; From  29^th September, 1923 plus 50 years = 1973 (a Jubilee Year)  the Yom Kippur WAR of 07^th October 1973 what does that make 2023? YES, 1973 plus 50 years makes 2023 a "Jubilee Year!" That happened on the 29^th September, 2023! Now look at what lies ahead for Israel and the Nations …this is the LAST JUBILEE before the Lord’s Millilumen Kingdom! Abraham was 100 years old when his son Isaac "the son of promise" was born just like Israel God’s - Promised Land (born in a day) …BUT is now 100 years old  on the 29^th September, 2023 and this just so happens to be at the beginning of "The Feast of Tabernacles" and the 07^th October, 2023 – 8^th Day Celebration which this year fell on the Anniversary of the Yom Kippur WAR of 1973 = exactly 50 years ago! Nothing is just coincidence!

Did you also know that when Israel became a Nation in 1948 the "The Law of Return" was passed on the 05^th July, 1950 which granted Jews the right to "citizenship" in Israel; Between 1947-50 there was a lot of development in this area however 1950 was very specific when the "Law of RETURN" was made official. You see God uses people to accomplish His plans on earth. "And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, And shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth." – Isaiah 11:11-12. Now look at this; 1950 + 80 = 2030 – 7 years = 2023 …that’s where we are NOW! Are we that privileged Generation leading up to the Rapture of the Church and then the 7 Year Tribulation?

The question we are often asked…. Is it Biblical to be a Christian believer and support Israel? Our simple answer is always: YES, but first we MUST understand what it means to be pro-Israel - and, in order to understand, we need to ALWAYS refer to God’s Word – the Bible! And, check what is happening in Israel as it is; God’s Prophetic “time clock” - Israel is the HOUR - Jerusalem the MINUTES - the Temple Mount (Mount Moriah) where the Islamic Al Aksa Mosque is situated today are the SECONDS on the clock …and it is now ticking loudly!

In Ezekiel 36:22-32 we read that God promises to do something spectacular in the lives of the children of Israel… NOT simply for the people BUT for His own Glory. Israel was chosen by God to be different from the Gentile World for His Name’s sake. God has NEVER forsaken Israel and promised to gather the scattered Jewish people from “the diaspora,” and to place them back into their own land. It is NOT Palestine; it was NEVER called this by God – the land is called by God as ISRAEL. This may lead to the Gentiles being shocked, as the Bible puts it. Islam is NOT of God! Muslims worship the pagan “moon god!” The very word Hamas means “violence!” The start of Islam is marked in the year 610AD following the first revelation to their prophet Muhammad at the age of 40. Muhammad and his followers spread the counterfeit teachings throughout the Arabian Peninsula. Islam was formed by man and NOT God!

The reason God’s Word is so powerful is because Ezekiel actually describes return of the Jews to their Land after thousands of years taking place when the Jews are in “unbelief. ”Though there are today many believers in Yeshua (Jesus Christ) and the Congregations are growing in number - there are also many secular Jews who follow the Gentile world and there are religious Jews who follow teachings of the Rabbis. We have seen this over 17 years in Israel and anyone visiting Modern Israel today, will see that this is absolutely true. Christian believers who travel to Israel on a tour are sometimes disappointed when they see that many modern Jews do NOT only reject their Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) (who is our Messiah too) …but they are not even religious. Our response to this is that it is exactly what the Prophet Ezekiel said was going to happen!

In Jeremiah 31, the Prophet Jeremiah completely agrees with Ezekiel about God transforming the Jewish Nation and bringing them to Himself (Jeremiah 12:10). The Jewish people needed to be back in the land for this “new birth” to take place. The most beautiful thing to us, is that the Bible says that Jerusalem will become like the “Garden of Eden” when the Nation is restored and the curse will be lifted at the Second Coming of Yeshua (Jesus Christ).

Why ISRAEL matters to Christians… All of Bible Prophecy revolves around Israel: Yeshua (Jesus) was born in Israel. Mary and Joseph were from Israel. Yeshua was baptized in Israel. Yeshua fasted 40 days in the wilderness of Israel. Yeshua preached the Sermon on the Mount in Israel. All of the original 12 Apostles were from Israel. All of the miracles of Yeshua were performed in Israel. The Last Supper occurred in Israel. The betrayal of Yeshua (Jesus) occurred in Israel. Yeshua prayed, "Not my will but thine be done" in Israel. Yeshua was crucified; died; buried and rose from the dead in Israel. The Holy Spirit was first poured out at Pentecost in Israel. The Church was born in Israel. The first sermons of the Church were preached in Israel. The first miracles of the Apostles were performed in Israel. The first baptisms occurred in Israel. The first Missionaries to the Nations were sent out from Israel. When Yeshua returns, He will return to Israel. After the Rapture and Tribulation Yeshua will overthrow the Antichrist and rule the entire world from Israel. God also gave Abraham another promise in Genesis 17:2-7 and then explained it in Galatians 3:8, 16. This promise refers to Christ. That is, God promised that Yeshua (Jesus Christ) would come through Abraham’s descendants and would be born for the purpose of dying so that our sins can be forgiven (Matthew 26:28; Luke 24:47). The Bible teaches that God loves both Jews and Gentiles (John 3:16). But God does have a special love and plan for His chosen people - Israel. The Bible promises blessings and peace for those who love and pray for Israel.

So, should we support the nation of Israel and believe that the nation of Israel is the fulfilment of Biblical Prophecies? The answer is, of course we should! We are not saying that everything Israel does is right. But God has brought the Jewish people – the Lord’s Brethren back to their land. We can see Prophecy unfolding before our eyes and so we should support Israel in this "time of war." Thank you so much for your love and support for Israel. "In as much as you did it to one of the least of My Brethren you have done it to Me!" – Matthew 25:40.

We most sincerely believe that God WILL bless you for your faithfulness and love for His land and chosen people. God’s Word is true! He IS watching to see how the Nations are treating His people. God will have mercy on Israel through Gentile believers acting as mediators towards them. This is one of the most amazing revelations ever given to the Church – an opportunity to do something that carries the highest priority in the heart of God. Yet, sadly, so few have seen the potential and the rewards of serving God in this manner - as agents of mercy to Israel and the Jewish people! Israel was and still is despised today and a despised Nation continually turning away from God …BUT nothing ever altered the purpose of God for that Nation. The "despised element" is always a noticeable element in the purpose of God. When the Saviour of the world came, He came of that "despised Nation" (and just like Israel) He Himself was "…despised and rejected by men." And there is that despised element; "…things that are despised God has chosen," - 1 Corinthians 1:28.
