When we speak of "the sun setting on something", we are referring to the END of a particular Era or time… This idiom is often used to describe the conclusion of an event or in Biblical Prophetic terms; "the end of the old and beginning" - of a new dawn! It signifies that something has come to an end OR is coming to an end and will NO longer continue in its current form! The phrase "the sun sets or is setting" is a metaphor for the "end of a day," which brings with it first the ‘darkness’ and then followed by the beginning of a new day. In the same way, when we say that "the sun is setting on TIME" …we are implying that it is "time" for us to move on from what has ended and to embrace what lies ahead!

This idiom "the Sun is setting" can be used in both positive and negative contexts... and is a commonly used phrase that conveys the idea of an "era or period" coming to an END. It is believed that the phrase may have originated from Ancient Civilizations where "the setting sun" was seen as a symbol of endings and transition to a NEW Era …and throughout history, this idiom has been used to describe ‘significant events’ such as the FALL of Empires …or the end of WARS! It is often used to describe the decline of an Empire or a Civilization. For example, it could be said that "the sun set on the British Empire" after World War II when Britain’s power and influence began to wane. This expression can also be used more generally to describe any situation where something comes to an END …or loses its relevance.

So, when we use the idiom "the sun sets on TIME," we are referring to the END of a particular Era …or period and suggests that just as the SUN disappears below the horizon at sunset, so too does this thing come to an end... For example, some people might say - "the curtain falls" instead of "the sun sets" to describe the same idea. Others might say "the book closes" OR "the door shuts." Regardless of which variation is used, it conveys the same message …that something has ended or is ending! While Noah was building the Ark on dry land his neighbours were laughing at what they believed were the efforts of a mad man. They really didn’t care what that family of religious fanatics did, because their lives were so evil and self-centred that God’s warnings were ignored! One of the most vivid descriptions of total depravity is found in; Genesis 6:5; The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time." In the days before the flood, people were looking out only for themselves …until that FINAL hour when Noah and his family entered the Ark and so when the FLOOD came, the remaining people on earth had NO dry ground or boats to rescue them. With their last drowning breaths, it was simply too late to ask God for mercy!

When Noah is first mentioned in Genesis 5:32, he is 500 years old. Noah received the command to build the ark in Genesis 6:14 …and by the time Noah entered the Ark, and the FLOOD began, he was 600 years old (Genesis 7:6). So, the people of Noah’s day had 100 years to repent …BUT they chose NOT to do so and certainly, there came a time -God’s time when the “doors” of the Ark were shut by God Himself! And so too will it be like in our Generation – the Last Days Generation! Time of repentance is NOW!

Prophetic Scriptures tell us what is going to happen in the future and so if YHVH God says something WILL take place then it’s a waste of time to pray that it will NOT happen… God is Sovereign and God is a just God! You see, the Bible had foretold of the re-birth of the Nation of Israel thousands of years before it happened …and NOBODY could prevent it from occurring just as the Word of God said it would happen! There would be NO meaning at all to End-time – Last Day Prophecies if Israel was NOT back in her Land of Promise! Let’s read from the Hebrew Bible the promise of Israel’s return by Isaiah; “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall Eretz (land/country) be born in Yom Echad (one day)? Or shall a Nation be born in a moment? For as soon as Tziyon (Zion/Jerusalem) travailed in labour, she gave birth to her banim (children) - Isaiah 66:8. This happened just as God Promised on 14 May 1948! God spoke and the “dead land” came alive (Ezekiel 36:8-12) and a barren wasteland once occupied by Gentile Empires came to an end as “the sun had set on time!” The land came alive when the Jews returned to their homeland! It is almost as it the Land of Israel had been mourning UNTIL then.

Now isn’t it also very interesting that Isaiah connected Israel’s rebirth to “birth pains” …just as our Lord Yeshua (Jesus) Describing “signs of the End-times” to His Disciples said, “All these are the beginning of birth pains” - Matthew 24:4-8. And “birth pains” signal the onset of the “final push” …and we are in the FINAL hours …just a few “pushes” away from delivery! But these “birth pains” of which our Lord spoke are NOT just confined to the realm of human affairs - the very Earth itself seems to be crying out today in travail with; floods, earthquakes, drought, volcanoes erupting, etc. It is as if the “labour” had begun and the “WATERS” have now broken with the “birth pains” taking place and are intensifying with WARS and “rumours of wars” and ISRAEL is at the epicentre!

A SURGE of flash flooding has meteorologists calling 2025 “the year of the FLOOD” … As of mid-July, the US has seen the highest number of flash flood warnings since record keeping began. Devastating flooding has also occurred across the world in various places. Why the increase of flash flooding in 2025? Meteorologists blame higher humidity levels, caused by warmer waters etc. However, considering where we stand on the Biblical Timeline - on the threshold of the FINAL millennium, or Day of the Lord, it is interesting to consider it also to the ultimate “flash flood” in the Days of Noah …seeing how the FLOOD of Noah’s Day foreshadows the onset of Judgment Day!

In July 2025 while devastating “flash flooding” occurred in Texas US President Trump was applying heavy pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, to end the war in Gaza so that the Abraham Accords (Arab Israeli peace agreements) can be expanded to more Arab states …BUT as the accords with Arab states are considered a positive development, they actually contrary to God’s plan for Israel to inhabit ALL of the Promised Land, as some of these states exist within its Biblically defined borders (Exodus 23:31). God warns against dividing the Land of Israel or making covenants with those who illegitimately occupy it (Joel 3:2; Exodus. 23:32–33).

Another Prophetic aspect of 2025 - this year’s flooding is that it occurs during a calculated Jubilee… The connection is significant because the Jubilee, “or year of redemption” …is when land is restored to its original owner (Israel) calling to mind the Arab occupation of the Promised Land, and the Abraham peace accords. Most importantly, the Jubilee foreshadows believers’ bodily redemption at the Rapture, and the onset of Judgment Day (Romans 8:23; Isaiah 63:1–4). Could these historic “flash floods” also be a sign that the Rapture is about to occur - “in a flash,” unleashing a FLOOD of Judgment upon an unsuspecting world? Did you know that on 7 October 2023 the brutal attack from Hamas in Gaza on innocent Israeli Civilians was also called “Al Aksa FLOOD?”

It has now been 2,000 years since our Lord Yeshua (Jesus) came and over the Centuries “the sun has set on time” and on Empires and today - the “SON” is setting on TIME for this FINAL Generation! Many people today are still living like ostriches with their heads in the sand NOT wanting to hear! And, as Yeshua (Jesus) the “SON” points out in His statement in; Matthew 24:34; “this generation will NOT pass away until all these things take place,” is that the events of the End-times will happen quickly! Once the “signs of the END” begin to be observed, the end is well on the way with the Rapture occurring first and then the Second Coming and the Judgment will occur within that LAST Generation.

Israel is referred to as “the Fig Tree” many times in the Bible. God Himself said, “I found Israel like grapes in the field - Hosea 9:10. Yeshua (Jesus) reinforced this meaning of “the Fig Tree” with the Parable; Matthew 24:32-33; “Now learn this lesson from the FIG tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.” Yeshua advised His Disciples “to learn the parable of the “Fig Tree” and said that when its “branches blossomed,” summer was close at hand. The Lord was saying in effect – “note the SIGNS” of the times! Similarly, when the symbolic “Fig tree” (Israel) would come to life then unusual events would begin to transpire. A sure SIGN of summer is the “leafing” of the Fig tree …and a sign of the END of the world is that “ALL these things” of Matthew 24 (and Luke 21) ARE taking place simultaneously - then those alive on the earth WILL have only a short time left …just like in the Days of Noah as God Himself WILL once again SHUT the door!

When Yeshua (Jesus) taught His Jewish Disciples much of the time He did so in Jerusalem, the Capital of Israel! It was the Capital then and it is the Capital now, NO matter what the rest of the world wants to say about it. In fact, it has been the Capital of Israel ever since King David made it so 3,000 years ago. Yeshua was a Jew and so He taught Jewish things and the subjects that the Disciple’s asked were completely of Jewish nature (there was NO Church yet as this only happened on Pentecost after the Lord’s Crucifixion). When the Church has NEVER replaced Israel and when it began 2,000 years ago it was primarily Jewish and in Book of Acts things began to change with the Holy Spirit. The first Church to include Gentile (Christians) was the Church at Antioch (Acts 11:26) which today is situated in Turkey. More innovative than the Jerusalem Church, Antioch became the centre of “missionary outreach to Gentiles” YET still maintained close ties with Jerusalem! In the last few Generations and especially this Generation many Christians believers are re-discovering their “Jewish roots of faith,” and this has enriched the reading of the Bible, YHVH – the God of Israel – our God …and the understanding of our Jewish Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) …as well as strengthening relationships with Yeshua’s brethren the Jewish people in our Generation. Together our first loyalty as Jew and Gentile born again believers is to the Kingdom of God as – “one new man in Christ!”  

We believe the answer on - “How long is a generation?” - lies in; Psalm 90:10; The length of our days is seventy years--or eighty if we are strong - yet their pride is but labour and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we FLY away!

This is the oldest Psalm in the Bible and the ONLY one written by Moses! Remember that Yeshua (Jesus) when speaking of the “Fig Tree” the Lord was speaking about the rebirth of Israel (who has turned 77 years this year 2025). The Rapture has always been associated with Psalm 90:10 because it defines the length of a generation but NOT everyone who studies this verse appreciates just how much it truly relates in a “unique way” to the Rapture.

First, let’s look at a little background to what the length of a Generation has to do with the Rapture… Yeshua (Jesus) speaks of a Generation in Matthew 24:32-36, which will NOT pass away until “ALL these things take place!” It has been speculated that this Generation began on; May 14, 1948, when the Nation of Israel, symbolized by a “Fig Tree” came back into their land and formed a new reborn Nation State. The Lord was speaking to His Disciples, who had curiously asked him a direct question, “what will be the sign of your coming and of the End of the Age?” and answered the question by speaking about a time in the FUTURE when the kingdom of God was about to be established, a Kingdom in which the KING will be Yeshua - Jesus Christ, and His Kingdom WILL be based in Jerusalem – ISRAEL!

The Generation that was alive when Yeshua (Jesus) last walked the earth was NOT the Generation that would see the HARPAZO – Rapture… rather there would be a pause of 2000 years after which the Lord would return to receive His bride (the true Church) to Himself in His Father's house and in preparation for His returning to the earth then 7 years later to establish His Millennial Kingdom! So, what is so unique about Psalm 90:10? Here's the thing, most people just read the first half of the verse which speaks of 70 to 80 years …and simply just gloss over the second half of the verse which refers BOAST which is CUT OFF “after which WE FLY AWAY!”

The way we interpret this is by looking at the way most people who don't even think about the Rapture, interpret this verse …as most people see this as a verse about growing old and passing away. A person, over the age of 70 (or any age in fact), can be relatively healthy one day, and then because of a serious setback or the onset of a serious disease, can lose their quality of life, or even eventually their life, in a very short period “of time!”

So, what does this all have to do with the Rapture? According to Matthew 24, the Generation currently living in ISRAEL is destined to be the Generation that WILL see the Kingdom of God established in their lifetime! BUT before that transition from the Church Age to the Kingdom of God can happen there needs to be a serious setback that CUTS OFF the Generation …and sets it on the road to “passing away!” In the sense that this Generation of people can NO longer live as a self-supporting Nation State living in their land because a serious setback is about to happen that makes that NO longer possible.

We believe that we are today seeing the “puzzle pieces” coming together “one-by-one” as Israel fights a war on 7 fronts including ICJ Court Case of Lawfare brought on the Nation by Iran using South Africa to do their “dirty work” in return for financial payment. Another precursor of this “setback” right now is once again IRAN! And RUSSIA - the Nation that is Prophesied to invade the Land of Israel in Ezekiel 38, in the Last Days is a Nation to the north of Turkey, which in turn borders Syria …and so Russia is the Nation just north of Israel as we read in the Bible that would be emboldened to invade Israel. It’s just a matter of when!

There is a “Fig Tree” Parable recorded in Luke 13:6-9 where the Lord spoke of this; “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. CUT IT DOWN; why does it use up the ground?’ But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can “cut it down!”’ This passage speaks of a 4-year period after which a “fig tree” is CUT DOWN if it does NOT bear fruit. There is a testing period of 3 years, which tests the BOAST in Psalm 90:10 of being able to live to 80 years after reaching the age of 77.

Israel reached the age of 70 on 14 May 2018, and under US President Trump for the first time in 2,000 years gained the recognition of Jerusalem their “Eternal Capital and sovereignty over the Golan Heights and the West Bank... But then things changed drastically in the world after the American Election with the US Presidency of Joe Biden in the White House who did NOT favour Israel as Trump did. It also followed by the end of PM Netanyahu's long running government in Israel who was replaced by a weak coalition AND this all happened in 3-years. Today Trump is back in the White House and Israel once again has a true ally and friend! Netanyahu is Prime Minister of Israel once again both Leaders are back and together at the same time in power “for a time such as this!” God has ordained this and so we see great changes coming for Israel and the Middle East in the very near future!  We can only watch and wait to see if it happens.

Speaking of events and various “signs” of the close of the Age and Christ’s personal return to the earth, Yeshua says; “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son only the Father” – Mark 13:32. This is WHY, the Lord admonishes the Disciples and us with the following; “Be on guard! Be alert!  You do not know when that time will come. It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.  Therefore, keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back, whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’” – Mark 13-33-37. As Judeo-Christian believers we MUST “keep watch” carefully and at the same time “occupy” and go about our daily business while being fully aware of what is taking place in Israel and the world UNTIL the day that Lord returns for us – His Bride – the Body of Christ – His Church!

Recent events in the Middle East have focused attention on the Political and Prophetic significance of Israel’s possession of their Ancient Capital of Jerusalem… For the first time since A.D. 70, Israel is in complete possession of the City of Jerusalem …and its surrounding territory including the Golan Heights. Under these circumstances, it is only natural that attention should be focused upon the Prophecy of, “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations; and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” – Luke21:24.

Israel is defending the Druze…Islamic militias are-radical factions with deep ties to Islamic jihadist ideology and have launched coordinated brutal assaults on the Druze community (and Christian Community) particularly near the Golan Heights. In response, Israel took swift and decisive action to defend the Druze, bombing over a hundred Syrian military and militia-linked targets. It's hard to see how “peace” will happen anytime soon since Damascus is now run by an ex-ISIS/Al Queda leader that is now the President of Syria.

The Druze faith originated in Egypt in the 11th century as an offshoot of Ismailism, a branch of Shia Islam and rejected by Sunni Islam.  The Druze people have a long and complex history in the Middle East, have long maintained relative peace with Israel. Many Druze serve in the Israeli Defence Forces, and their villages dot the borderlands of the Golan. For Israel, allowing radical Islamic militias to overrun Druze territory would NOT only be a humanitarian betrayal but also a strategic disaster. The defence of the Druze is not only a moral imperative for Israel …it's a national security one.

While Israel's air force may succeed in pushing back these militias today, the underlying forces are religious extremism, regional ambition, and deep historical grievances that are NOT so easily extinguished. And this brings us to an ancient warning …a Prophetic one that is found in the pages of Scripture in; Isaiah 17:1; See, Damascus will NO longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins." Damascus is NOT just any city …it is one of the oldest continuously inhabited Cities in the world. For over 5,000 years, it has survived conquest, empire, and war. Even today, despite years of civil war and devastation, Damascus remains a functioning city. And yet, Isaiah prophesied its utter and total destruction …and complete ceasing of habitation. The specificity of Isaiah's words paints a quite different picture as this isn't just a City invaded or damaged …it's a City that WILL cease to exist - a "ruinous heap" - that "will disappear from the face of the earth." What if a chemical weapons depot is accidentally or intentionally ignited? What if Iran's tentacles extend too far once again and provoke an overwhelming Israeli response? One thing is for sure God’s Word says it will cease to exist!

It is important for Judeo-Christian believers to recognize that these flare-ups NOT as random chaos …but as echoes of God's Word… The God who sees the “end from the beginning” did NOT include these Prophecies for curiosity's sake. They are markers, warnings, and signposts in the storm …that reminds us of world history is NOT aimless. It is under God’s Divine supervision. The situation in Syria today may simmer down tomorrow. Israel may succeed in halting the militias. The Druze may find reprieve …but the pressure continues to build beneath the surface of Damascus. One day, in God's time, the prophecy WILL be fulfilled. And when it is, the world will look on in awe--not merely at the destruction, but at the accuracy of a Word written millennia before. Until then, we must watch, pray, and remain sober minded …because the ruins of Damascus are NOT just a warning to Syria …they are a reminder to the ENTIRE world that the FINAL chapters are already written and God is the one who is in control!

Does Israel’s today occupying Jerusalem signify in keeping with the Prophecy that “the times of the Gentiles” have come to an END? A study of this passage would seem to indicate that this is the case …and that now Israel is moving into a new phase of its long history. You see, “the times of the Gentiles” will not FULLY end until after the Harpazo/Rapture of the Church had taken place AND at the Lord’s Second Coming He WILL destroy “Gentile rule” and establishes His Kingdom Reign forever! (Matthew 24:30; Luke 1:32–33; Revelation 19:16–21) Jerusalem WILL remain “a burden” to ALL Nations until Yeshua - Christ Returns in His Second Coming!

The Coming Third Temple in Jerusalem… With Iran on the back foot, Hamas and Hezbollah scattered, and the winds of Middle East diplomacy blowing once again, a different kind of conversation is quietly picking up steam: Could we be approaching the day when the Jewish Temple is rebuilt?

For many Jews, this is more than wishful thinking. …it is a sacred hope deeply rooted in thousands of years of Scripture and tradition. Since the heinous attacks of 7 October 2023, a “religious revival” has taken root across Israel …especially among younger generations …and Jewish identity is being reawakened NOT just on a “cultural or national” level, …but as a “spiritual” calling. And at the centre of that calling lies the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism, AND the long-awaited Third Temple.

While most people remain focused on Israel ‘ceasefire’ negotiations and the regional Security… something even more significant may be quietly unfolding. For those with eyes to see, a series of developments suggest that the ground is being “spiritually” and quite literally prepared for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem. Whether it will be rebuilt …by political action …or divine intervention …or some mysterious blend of both remains to be seen. But the preparations are NO longer theoretical. They are real, visible, and accelerating! Meanwhile, the Temple Institute in Jerusalem has spent decades reconstructing ALL the vessels, garments, and instruments needed for Temple worship …from the golden menorah to the High Priest’s breastplate. These are NOT museum replicas …they are intended for real use and now, the most striking development yet: actual training programs for future priests (kohanim) are in full swing!

For the first time in 2,000 Years, on July 8, 2025, a “red heifer” was sacrificed in Jerusalem in a Prophetic rehearsal ceremony that could trigger the long-awaited construction of the Third Temple. The “red heifer” (cow) was burned in an act of the ancient purification rites as detailed in Scripture pointing toward significant End-time Prophetic events. Although the “red heifer” used was disqualified from being the actual one to be used for future “temple purification” due to minor imperfections, the Ceremony itself was carried out according to the Biblical guidelines found in Numbers 19 - where God commands that a “red heifer” WITHOUT blemish upon which NEVER came “a yoke” were to be offered …with its ashes used to ritually cleanse and prepare the priests for service in the soon coming Third Jewish Temple! This practice run is NOT just symbolic; it reflects growing desire within Ultra-Orthodox Jewish Community in Israel to re-establish the conditions necessary for the “restoration” of Temple worship!

Why does this matter to us as believers in Yeshua? Because “KEY” End-times Bible Prophecies point us to an existence of a Third Temple in Jerusalem during the Tribulation period...

Daniel 9, Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians describe a time when this Temple WILL be desecrated by the Antichrist AND for such a Temple to operate, “ritual purity” must first be re-established, which hinges on the “red heifer ashes.” This development underscores the urgency for believers to remain spiritually alert! The Bible repeatedly calls followers of Christ “to WATCH” and be ready - NOT as passive spectators …but as discerning Judeo-Christian Believers in God’s unfolding plan for Israel and the world. In a world today that is increasingly shaped by “spiritual deception,” AND in these unprecedented times we must anchor ourselves in Scripture, Prayer and Fasting more crucial than ever before knowing the times and hour that we are living in!

God is working our His plan. There will soon be a day when the Church is taken up to meet the Lord in the air. There will come a time when God disciplines and leads Israel to repentance. There will come a day when those who have rejected the “free gift” of God’s Salvation will suffer judgement for their rejection. The day is fast approaching and as we see “the sun setting on time” we certainly cannot wait for our Lord’s return! Only joy, peace and happiness await us believers as we enter Eternity! All pains, fears, worries, sorrows of the world will be left behind. “The spirit and bride say, ‘Come!’” And let him who hears say ‘Come!’” Revelation 22:17. Even so COME Lord we are waiting!

We most sincerely believe that God WILL bless you for your faithfulness and love for His land and chosen people. God’s Word is true! He IS watching to see how the Nations are treating His people. God will have mercy on Israel through Gentile believers acting as mediators towards them. This is one of the most amazing revelations ever given to the Church – an opportunity to do something that carries the highest priority in the heart of God. Yet, sadly, so few have seen the potential and the rewards of serving God in this manner - as agents of mercy to Israel and the Jewish people! Israel was and still is despised today and a despised Nation continually turning away from God …BUT nothing ever altered the purpose of God for that Nation. The "despised element" is always a noticeable element in the purpose of God. When the Saviour of the world came, He came of that "despised Nation" (and just like Israel) He Himself was "…despised and rejected by men." And there is that despised element; "…things that are despised God has chosen," - 1 Corinthians 1:28.
