“And He (God) changes the times and the seasons: He removes kings, and sets up kings: He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He reveals the deep and secret things: He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.” – Daniel 2:21-22. Just as God chose Moses, Joseph, Esther, Ruth and David… imperfect men and women who were entrusted to lead and/or provide for God’s people …so the Lord raises up people who are not perfect, but humble and available, and then grows and matures them to become who He destines them to be as they walk in their Calling. When you look at it prophetically everything happens for a reason and in a season!

So, Is God really in control of everything? Yes! The concept of the control of God over everything is called the “sovereignty” of God and nothing gives us strength and confidence like an understanding of the sovereignty of God in our lives. God’s sovereignty is defined as His complete and total independent control over every creature, event, and circumstance at every moment in history. Subject to none, influenced by none, absolutely independent, God does what He pleases, only as He pleases, always as He pleases. “He makes nations great, and destroys them; He enlarges nations, and disperses them.”- Job 12:23-25. God is in complete control of every molecule in the universe at every moment, and everything that happens is either caused or allowed by Him for His own perfect purposes. “The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying; “Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, And as I have purposed, so it shall stand” – Isaiah 14:24. Nothing is random or comes by chance, especially not in the lives of believers. He “purposed” it and that means to deliberately resolve to do something. God has resolved to do what He will do, and nothing and no one stands in His way; “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please” – Isaiah 46:10. This is our powerful, purposeful God who is in control of everything. That should bring us great comfort and help to alleviate our fears.

South Africa has just had an election on the 08^th May and the Lord wants to encourage us so that we do NOT look at why there was NO change from the present government. “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” – Romans 13:1. 

Yes, the leaders are corrupt, ungodly and, who have NOT kept their promises to the people …and have chosen to support BDS as well as the terrorist enemies of Israel. In these hard times we are to stay focused and NOT look at people at this time of transition in our nation - but to look at God and hear what He is saying, …and, see what He is doing behind-the-scenes spiritually and physically. Sure, it’s so easy to get thrown off-course when we notice all the failures over the past 25 years where there seems like NO physical change or outcome. Let’s stay very focussed on Christ at this time, and understand the workings of the Holy Spirit within our nation. The people of South Africa were simply not ready for change yet!

South Africa is 79.8% Christian and God has heard the prayers and has seen the hearts of the people. Many South Africans have sown in tears and there will surely come a “time of reaping a harvest of joy.” Many South Africans Jew and Christian love and support Israel even though the present government doesn’t and will not back down from being a blessing to God’s chosen people and nation. God says that the nations who bless Israel will be blessed but those that curse Israel will be cursed! It does not mean God will not bless churches and individuals because the government doesn’t honour Hs Land and people – in fact God says “those who bless Israel WILL be blessed. Our country simply needs God-fearing Bible believing leaders that will stand with Israel but until a change comes it will remain much the same. However, there can be great hope of harvest for the nation and people because of praying believers. Yet, Psalm 126:5-6 speaks of “sowing in tears.” It says that someone… “…goes forth weeping, bearing the seed for sowing.” So why are they weeping? The present distress must NOT be viewed as if it would last for ever; it is NOT the end, by any means …but only a means to the end. Sorrow is the sowing; rejoicing shall be the reaping. If there were no sowing in tears there would be no reaping in joy. If we were never captives, we could never lead our captivity to freedom and prosperity. We must sow! We may have to sow in the wet weather of sorrow; but we SHALL reap …and reap in the bright summer season of joy. Let us keep to the work of this present “sowing time,” and keep praying for our nation and the leaders, as our Lord has commanded us to do this; “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” – 1 Peter 2:1-2.

We can find strength in the promise which is so positively given us in this Psalm 126. Here is one of the Lord's “shall’s” and “wills” that is freely given both to workers who sow, then the wait, and those weepers …and they may rest assured that it will NOT fail; “…in due season we shall reap!” It is not every “sowing” which is thus insured against all danger - and guaranteed a harvest, but the promise specially belongs to sowing in tears. When a man's heart is so stirred that he weeps over the sins of others, he is elect to usefulness. Winners of souls are first weepers for souls. As there is no birth without travail, so is there no “Spiritual Harvest” without painfully cultivating the land. When our own hearts are broken with grief at man's transgression, we will break other men’s hearts: tears of earnestness generate tears of repentance; "deep calls unto deep." – Psalm 42:7.

There is surely coming a “New Day” for South Africa and will be birthed into and will be the beginning of the “New Day” of the “New Season” for the nation. It will be like the crossing-over of the Jordan toward the Promised Land. It is important to understand this, so we don’t get disappointed or discouraged if what we see doesn’t resemble the fullness of the “New Day” straight away. There will be a crossing over, but taking the land is going to be a process. The Lord is Sovereign, and He is going to show His Wonders in this time of history just as He did when He delivered Moses and the Israelites from Egypt. There was a period of delay, where the Pharaoh’s heart was hardened by God, to show forth God’s Greatness and Wonders. God was working behind-the-scenes, setting the stage to display His Power and Majesty. Only God received the glory for their deliverance, and Jews and Christians still celebrate it today!

Because God orders seasons, there must of necessity be transitions from one season to the next... Often there will be the need to let go of the old in order to embrace the new. As we reach the end of God’s particular purpose, the grace that sustained us in the past will begin to lift and we must be prepared for a fresh word from the Lord and a fresh direction. In the same way, the Lord has taken South Africa “towards the “New season” (yet to be birthed) through the outcome of the recent election …but it’s still going to be a process. There is going to be time involved, as these elections have set our journey onto a new course, but just as many had pre-anticipated didn’t cause an immediate establishment of the ‘New!’ The process is going to be the period in which the Lord is going to exchange the Old Wineskin with the New and that will take some time. This nation is going to go through a major transformation where the “old” is going to become useless and ineffective and even impossible. We will find ourselves looking at a puzzle we can’t fit together, and during this time of frustration and even shaking - as the ‘old’ will be shaken until it falls apart! The Lord will break “fear of change,” from the people. He will break the pride, corruption and arrogance which is fuelled by Satan to destroy our nation and bring forth a heart of humility where people will take hands on all sides for the first time and serve our nation and people in unity.

The levelling will first come from leadership within the government! It has to as it is where the strongholds are. The Lord has placed His “righteous remnant” inside the government in the same way as He placed Esther in Persia - “for a time as this,” and this “righteous remnant” will operate with an anointing to a very significant role in what the Lord is building within our nation - but they too, will be in the “winepress” of humility, and any root of pride and arrogance will be dealt with. For the Lord is gracious and kind, and He is going to bring a shaking within our government that is not one of judgment, but one of purification and refinement and will cause change amongst the leaders of our nation that will birth a nation of unity, Truth, and Righteousness. A nation that is built on God is able to take the Gospel to the world. We believe that God has so much more in store.

As Christians, we are to live in a fine balance; standing for that which is true while seeking unity amongst ourselves whenever possible, standing firm in the faith while showing grace to those who do not, holding our leaders accountable while praying for their wisdom and well-being. We are to learn from these words; “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one. We are to be those who stand in the gap, who lift up our nation with all it favours and faults before the throne of God, and pray that He continues to work in our midst.” – Ezekiel 22:30.

America is a very good example to look and see God’s amazing Hand at work in our generation and the choice of a Leader for the nation. Let’s take a look just at the past decade… Firstly, we believe just like Israel was and still is God’s chosen land and people - America was chosen as “a bastion” for Western Civilization and a “protection” for the Jewish people and the Nation of Israel. “The nation is like a mighty lion; when it is sleeping, no one dares wake it. Whoever blessed Israel will be blessed, and whoever curses Israel will be cursed.” – Numbers 24:9.

Former congresswoman and 2012 Republican presidential contender Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) claimed recently that U.S. President Barack Obama cursed Israel and his administration intervened in the Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu's successful bid for re-election and that that U.S. State Department and has been promoting an “evil gay” agenda on foreign countries. For those of us who believe in the Biblical admonishment in Genesis 12:3, that; “those who bless Israel are blessed and those who curse Israel are cursed.” We recognize that the United States, as a country has been in position of cursing Israel and we know that rebounds for negative consequences for our country." Michele Bachmann sees the move of the US Embassy to Jerusalem as a blessing to the United States; “For the United States, what President Trump has done is put our country in a pathway of blessing because we are acting in conformity with Genesis 12:3: She explained; "We have blessed Israel as the United States of America because President Trump has recognized the legitimacy of the Jewish people to the Jewish land and the right to have Jerusalem as their capital," she continued; "All we are doing is agreeing with what God Himself said 3,000 years ago – that Jerusalem is the capital"  

The presidency of Barack Hussein Obama (2009-2017) was God’s direct judgment upon America, just as God making Saul king over Israel was actually a judgement on Israel. But the Presidency of Donald Trump, on the other hand, was to reverse the Obama curse on Israel …and is a judgment upon the world and upon the nations that rejected Israel. Donald John Trump was elected as the 45^th President of the United States on 20^th January 2017 - by the Sovereign act of an Almighty God’s will to place into power, and to remove from power, anyone He so chooses. So as right now America is passing the two-and-a-half-year mark of his presidency. Why God would choose to use an ordinary man like Donald J. Trump? So, let’s take a look, shall we? As we have seen that judgment on America began With The election Of Barack Hussein Obama, and became the “king” that God had given over to America in the Last Days!” Did God know that Obama would literally as in his own words “radically change America?” Yes! God has started to judge America as a nation and honestly the world did not think that America let alone Israel would survive much past 8 years of his presidency. But yes America, Israel and the world - did survive Obama, and have continued forward. Why didn’t America change immediately - but instead the judgement from God was going to continue under Donald Trump. Albeit for entirely different reasons than it did with Obama; “But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so, he prayed to the Lord. And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. As they have done from the day, I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.” -  1 Samuel 8:7,9.

Obama was God’s direct judgment upon America for their rebellion against God… As the Bible teaches us that we will know them by their “fruit” - “You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that doesn’t bring forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Therefore, by their fruits you shall know them.”- Matthew 7:16-20. And, looking back anyone can clearly see the “fruits” of Obama’s evil “sowing” which today has reached a “harvest” of sin against God and against Israel. However, the presidency of Donald Trump, on the other hand, is a judgment upon the world for their rebellion and for the way that they have cursed Israel. And what better way to judge the world than by using the nation that has the world’s largest economy and the world’s strongest military, America! God placed Donald Trump in power as a “global” judgment and the world has seen many things already forgotten surrounding Trump’s miraculous election.

So WHY is God using President Trump to judge the world? A global “shaking” literally began within mere weeks into his presidency, and even at that time, his election was already causing a shaking around the political world and especially in Europe. The Liberal Media went crazy and the world witnessed the “New World order” or “Globalists” begin to “shake” in just that short span of time…“For thus says the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it in a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts.” – Haggai 2:6-7. (1) US President Donald Trump challenged – The New World Order! Satan is not happy and will continue his attacks as he does NOT want Trump in office! And, neither are the Liberal Media happy!

(2) Alarmingly Democrat Liberal and Socialist critics are not happy too - with Trump not only threatening to dispose of political correctness but also disregarding the basic tenets of world order surrounding nuclear weapons and “shaking up” global affairs by stating an interest in vastly expanding the U.S. nuclear arsenal, even if it means restarting an arms race with Russia. (3) He also warned the United Nations (UN) the America would stand with Israel and things would be different now. Trump slammed the Obama administration for its decision not to veto a U.N. resolution critical of Israel’s so-called settlements the world calls Westbank (Judea and Samaria), promising that it would be very “different” under his presidency. (4) He shook International Relations by under-cutting the Obama administration over the devastating Iranian deal. (5) He was the only US President to have the “Chutzpah” (guts, audacity, cheek) to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem. We’ve heard of other presidents who have made empty promises to do it but they end up not doing it, only Trump followed through on his pre-election promise. Wow, right? (6) Trump broke with long-standing International consensus on 25^th March when he formally recognised Israel’s claim of sovereignty over the Golan it captured during the 1967 war. Israel annexed 1,200-square kilometres of the Golan it seized in 1981, a move that the International community never recognised or never will. “At a time when Iran seeks to use Syria as a platform to destroy Israel, President Trump boldly recognizes Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Thank you, President Trump!” PM Bibi Netanyahu 21st March, 2019. President Trump literally blessed Israel and we know that God will honour this!

But there is more… The Trump Peace Deal of the Century in the making; With each passing month, President Trump and Jared Kushner are inching closer to presenting a very unique and different peace deal and one that actually might be accepted by both parties. Amazingly, it will not create a Palestinian state existing alongside with Israel. Now the question is, who will control Jerusalem. The absorption would happen in stages, where the largest number of refugees that Jordan would have to take in at one time would be 300,000. Palestinians from Gaza who are currently in Jordan would be included in this deal. Part of the deal would also include giving Jordanian land, Nahariya and Tzofar, to Israel. These enclaves are currently leased to Israel, but officially Jordanian land. In return, Jordan would receive land from Saudi Arabia, the report claimed. Trump will also ask Egypt to grant citizenship to Palestinian refugees. Granting Palestinians refugees’ citizenship status from other countries may be a way for Trump to avoid establishing a Palestinian state. The report hints that a confederation of three states may be an option, where there would be a joint government between Israel, Jordan, and the Palestinian Authority for specific and limited purposes. (Jerusalem Post) According to the report, Jordanian King Abdullah II expressed opposition to the establishment of a joint confederation and told Egyptian leaders that he prefers Jordan to remain in charge of the holy sites in Jerusalem “without interfering in the details between the Israelis and the Palestinians.” “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:3.

The battle for control of Jerusalem goes all the way back to the first book of the bible ever written, the Book of Job. Job represents in type Jews who will find themselves in the time of restoration back into the land of God’s blessing (Job 42:10-17) but will eventually lead to the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:4-8) in the days after the “Rapture of the Church” takes place. Because God has proclaimed over and over that Jerusalem is the place where He has placed His own Name, Satan wants it for himself. You cannot have peace in the Middle East without first figuring out who will control Jerusalem!

Let’s look again at the last 2.5 years of US President Trump’s presidency …can you see God’s Hand of judgement on this world especially after Obama? Obama was literally celebrated by the Liberals as a “Demigod” by the corrupt fake CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and other Liberal news networks. They make NO excuse for their hatred against Trump, his administration and supporters! God is not happy and the cup of the world’s judgement is almost full now! So where does this leave not only America, Europe but all of us? After Obama left office what did he leave behind for the world? He left it in a day and age… (1) Where babies are aborted daily and their still-warm flesh is sold for their body parts or as a form of “birth control.” These unborn babies did not and still do not yet fully have a voice or even right to life - even after birth! (2) Racial divide and division. (3) Hatred for law enforcement and police who give their lives to protect the people (4) Liberal Politicians speaking about forced sterilization, euthanasia and murder of human beings - God’s creation born in His image! (5) Politicians with their so-called “Climate Change” and will do anything to stop interference with their “Global Warming” hoax as they want to use it to control the population growth on planet earth. (6) During the time of Obama we saw the indoctrinating of school children into homosexual lifestyles with programs introducing LGBTQ, by putting men in women’s bathrooms, and by replacing the words; Mother of Father with ‘parent 1’ and ‘parent 2.’ (7) And if all that doesn’t do it for you, how about Obama’s alliance with Islam and financing terrorism …or by removing Christianity, God, His Word the Bible to appease Islam? The list continues on…!

The past two Israeli Elections were miraculous not once but twice…. Was God’s Hand upon PM Bibi Netanyahu? First let’s look at the election that took place in 17^th March 2015. According to the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI), Obama gave $349,276 in U.S. taxpayer-funded grants to a political group in Israel to build a campaign operation, which subsequently was used to try to influence Israelis to vote against conservative Benjamin Netanyahu in the March 2015 election for Prime minister. 

Surprises were inevitable in that year's election …but nobody could have predicted to what extent. Israelis awoke the morning after the election feeling as if an overnight miracle had occurred! Perhaps the only person who wasn’t truly surprised by his indisputable triumph was PM Bibi Netanyahu himself. No matter the inference in the election by Israel’s closest ally and then president Obama and his administration or how dire the polls were or how unrelenting the Media scandals and the accusations that he was cut off from the electorate - PM Netanyahu kept insisting that he had broad support in the Israeli public and a majority wanted him as their Prime Minister. Then there was little dispute that the exit polls on the night of the elections got it wrong in a major way. The difference in the numbers that Israelis saw before they went to sleep Tuesday night and those that surprised them when they woke up the next morning had them - depending on their political sympathies - feeling as if an overnight miracle had occurred or for the Liberals and Obama as if their worst nightmare had come true.  The Obama offensive literally backfired!

Did you know? Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu’s most solid connection to the Messiah was through Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson who died in 1994. The two first met in 1984 when Netanyahu was Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations. Before Netanyahu returned to Israel in 1988 to join Likud, the Rabbi gave him advice in few words; “You (Bibi) will fight with 119 people,” which proves to be prophetically foreshadowing the coalition troubles and corrupt Media that are plaguing the Prime Minister to this day in 2019. Rabbi David Nachson a close friend of Israeli PM Netanyahu who witnessed this dialogue, related that the Rabbi was confident that some great good would come out of Netanyahu’s political trials;  “It really pains me, as a friend, as a brother, as a close friend, to see how people constantly spill Netanyahu’s blood,” Rabbi Schneerson had confided to Nachshon; “But I have a surprise for you, he’s going to come out of it, and he’ll stand tall, on God’s side. He has a promise from the Rabbi and he’s going to make it through this. We’ve seen it happen up to now, and that’s how it’s going to be now as well. He will make it through this, and he will continue, and I hope he’ll be able to hand his keys over to Mashiach (the Messiah), and we’ll have the complete and true Redemption.”

Was God in control of the recent Israeli election on the 09^th April this year 2019?  Most definitely! “Like channelled water is the mind of the king in God’s hand; He directs it to whatever He wishes!”- Proverbs 21:1. It was a very contentious election and the outcome is said to be miraculously ordained by God’s Hand. Prayer works! The nation prayed, Christians around the world prayed …and God answered prayer in the early hours of the morning of the next day as the nation held its breath. Yes, it was a tense National Election Day on Tuesday, 9th April with the 10 p.m. exit polls showing the new opposition Blue and White party in the lead or standing neck and neck with PM Bibi Netanyahu’s Likud Party! Then just after 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emerged as the clear winner, with Likud leading 35 to 34 over the opposition party and is now set to be the longest-serving prime minister in Israeli history …even longer than PM David Ben-Gurion, the country’s first Prime Minister, who’s often described as “Israel’s George Washington.” How amazing is that? “It will be a right-wing government, but I intend to be the prime minister of all the citizens of Israel – right and left, Jews and non-Jews alike. All the citizens of Israel,” Prime Minister Netanyahu declared. Acknowledging the major hurdles facing Israel regarding security, economy, society and foreign relations, Netanyahu expressed confidence that “we will be able to meet all these challenges.” Concerning the “path to peace with Arab nations,” for example, “even as we speak, it’s happening,” he said!

We believe that God has put PM Bibi Netanyahu and US President Trump in highest leadership “for a time such as this” and specifically for Jerusalem and Nation of Israel… What God has put into motion – no man can stop! Israeli PM Netanyahu has been elected to a fifth term in Israel. President Trump congratulated Netanyahu on his victory, and then said that Netanyahu’s re-election will improve the chances of peace in the region. President Trump, called by many believers a modern-day Cyrus the Great (and especially in Israel) has chosen sides and is Israel’s best friend. Is the “Deal of the Century” fast approaching? Remember, if a peace deal is reached between Palestinians and Israelis, it will mark the beginning of the final 7 years to the Battle of Armageddon …or could it just be the beginning of the war of Ezekiel 38? Good news is that the church will be raptured! (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) Or will the sudden disappearance of millions of Christians send Planet Earth into an unprecedented time of worldwide chaos and panic? Remember also that a third Temple will be built (not maybe) and this has to be built as Bible clearly states this too! The move of the United States Embassy to Jerusalem May 14, 2018 on the 70th anniversary of the creation of the Modern State of Israel, and recently on Passover U.S. recognition of Israel’s sovereignty over Syria’s Golan Heights as part of Israel through a presidential proclamation signed by U.S. President Donald Trump on March 25, 2019 just after Purim. We are certainly living in very interesting and prophetic times!  So, we can see God’s Hand in history and every situation even in our own lives. God is in control!

“Simeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take from them a people for his name. And with this, the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written, after this I (God) will return and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it!’ – Acts 15:14-16. This scriptural basis is all interesting …but how does it relate to the U.S. Embassy relocating a year ago to Jerusalem? Well, when President Trump made the momentous announcement to recognize Jerusalem as the official Capital of Israel, he delighted those Evangelicals, Judeo-Christians who continue to argue the Eternal importance of this historic city as the very epicentre of Biblical Prophecy. Through enshrining Jerusalem as the “Eternal capital” of the Jewish people, President Trump and his administration was, deliberately or otherwise, nodding to the Biblical prophecy held to by so many true Bible believing Christians in the U.S. and across the world. Just think about it? If you are convinced that the return of the Jewish people to the State of Israel is something that must occur in the sequence of events leading up to the return of Christ, it is immensely exciting to think that the world’s greatest superpower America is acknowledging the absolute legitimacy of Israel’s right to this hallowed ground. There is NO doubt that the landmark recognition will encourage even more Jews to return to Jerusalem, which is arguably in accordance with Biblical prophecy. Many also believe that as this occurs, there will be an ongoing and mass conversion of Jews to Christ. “Gentile” believers have been grafted into Israel by faith, and while the Mosaic Covenant has been fulfilled through the “Death and Resurrection” of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), the Abrahamic Covenant (God’s promise to make a great nation of Abraham’s descendants and bless them with land) continues to endure. “Simply put, God is NOT finished with the Jews, and the future of Gentile Christianity is closely tied to the fulfilment of God’s promises to Israel.” 

Let’s look at President Trump’s words on the day of the Embassy opening on the 14^th May, 2018; “Almost immediately after declaring Statehood in 1948, Israel designated the city of Jerusalem as its Capital. The Capital the Jewish people established in Ancient Times. So important! Today, Jerusalem is the seat of Israel’s government. It is the home of the Israeli legislature and the Israeli Supreme Court and Israel’s Prime Minister and President. Israel is a sovereign nation with the right, like every other sovereign nation, to determine its own Capital. Today, we follow through on this recognition and open our Embassy in the historic and sacred land of Jerusalem. This city and its entire nation are a testament to the unbreakable spirit of the Jewish people.” Jerusalem has been the object of the affection of both Jews and Christians down through history and the touchstone of prophecy... But, of course, NOT all Christians subscribe to such teaching as they don’t study Prophecy and God’s plan for Israel from beginning of time (Genesis) until end of the “times of the Gentiles” (Luke 21:24) the “Rapture” and then even after the “Tribulation” and the “Lord’s Second Coming,” the “1000-Year- Millennium” and our Eternal Home – “the New Jerusalem!” Yes, the Lord’s returning will be to where? Physical Jerusalem and the Mount of Olives – Israel (Zechariah 14:4; Micah 1:4). These believers do not believe God’s plan for End-Times and Israel so assert staunch opposition to Christian Zionism, support enemies of Israel (Joel 3:2) believing that it undermines Palestinian peace-building efforts in Israel and the Middle East. God says touch NOT Jerusalem nor divide My Land: Zechariah 12:1-14; Numbers 24:9! God is everywhere - even in the corrupted Liberal news and is exposing their lies. That’s why we view everything through the Bible and watch every news story through the lens of faith! 

Finally, the only way to trust in God’s sovereign control and rest in it is to know God. Know His attributes, know what He has done in the past, and this builds confidence in Him. “The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” – Daniel 11:32. Imagine that kind of power in the hands of an evil, unjust god - or a god that really doesn’t care about us. But we can rejoice in our God’s sovereignty, because it is overshadowed by His goodness, His love, His mercy, His compassion, His faithfulness and His Holiness! But we can’t trust someone we don’t know, and there is only one way to know God and that is through His Word. There is only the Bible, the single source of power that will change our lives from the inside out. But it takes effort, diligent, everyday effort, to know the God who controls everything. If we drink deeply of His Word and let it fill our minds and hearts, the sovereignty of God will become clear to us, and we will rejoice in it because we will know intimately and trust completely the God who controls all things for His perfect purpose.

God’s Word is true! He IS watching to see how the nations are treating His people. God will have mercy on Israel through Gentile believers acting as mediators towards them. This is one of the most amazing revelations ever given to the church – an opportunity to do something that carries the highest priority in the heart of God. Yet, sadly, so few have seen the potential and the rewards of serving God in this manner - as agents of mercy to Israel and the Jewish people! Israel was and still is despised today and a despised nation continually turning away from God BUT nothing ever altered the purpose of God for that nation. The despised element is always a noticeable element in the purpose of God. When the Saviour of the world came, He came of that despised nation; like Israel… He Himself was “despised and rejected by men,” …and there is that despised element; “…things that are despised God has chosen,” 1 Corinthians 1:28. Now, more than at any time is the time to support Israel and the Jewish people - the Lord’s Brethren! We are witnessing the nations and people turning their backs on Israel.
