Who really is in control of Israel? Even more so, who really controls the Middle East? Sometimes there is a wide gulf between belief and reality; “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed saying; ‘Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.’ He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision!” – Psalm 2:2-4. The rulers of this world boast of their power and plans BUT Yahweh - God sits back and laughs as He is the One who controls Israel and is also the One who controls the Middle East AND He is the One who controls the ENTIRE world! God is in control, and He WILL accomplish His will. When we realize this then we WILL recognize that TRUTH and without a doubt the future of Israel and the Middle East better than any secret service agency in the world!

The final countdown (49 + 1 day = 50) of the Omer for Shavuot / Pentecost – beginning; (49^th day) 01 June – 02 June (50^th day) ends on the evening of the 03 June. God was in control thousands of years ago at Mt Sinai when He gave the 10 Commandments just as He was in control 2,000 years ago on the Day of Pentecost when He gave us the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. Shavuot in Hebrew means “weeks.” And Pentecost is the Greek name for “The Feast of Weeks” and means “50.”

When the Bible wants us… “To Look” at a specific event or phenomenon it tells us… “To Look” …AND when the Bible wants us… “To Count” something – it tells us… “To Count” (Leviticus 23:15-16,21 and Acts 2:1-4). If the number 3,000 receiving the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:41) sounds strangely familiar, we need only look back to Mount Sinai and the “golden calf” when 3,000 were slaughtered in rebellion! Shavuot – Pentecost historically marks the beginnings of NEW Dispensations, e.g. the ages of “Human Government” – “Law” and “God’s Grace” (Exodus 19; Acts 2) and if the pattern holds – Pentecost may mark the start of FINAL Dispensation – the Day of the Lord and the Rapture – symbolic of believers is harvested (Matthew 13). Pentecost is when everyone must bring an offering proportionate to how God has blessed him (her) – a picture of the Bema Judgement after the Rapture (Deuteronomy 16:16, 17; Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 12:49). You see somewhere at sometime soon it must happen as “The Feasts of the Lord” are significant and Prophetic. Nothing is just coincidence with our Abba Father …Yahweh God! “In Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works ALL things according to the counsel of His will.” God works ALL things according to the counsel of His will and that means He controls everything!

God knows what He is doing…We must NEVER doubt that! God is in control of Israel and the Middle East and that alone should be enough to bring SHALOM - peace in our hearts NO matter how bad it looks. Everything is playing out exactly as the Bible warned us it would happen in the Last Days. The End-times days are approaching and its almost as if it is the Last hours! How do we know? Read Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 36-37-38 …AND then look again at Israel and the Middle East. By fulfilment of Prophecy and the actions of Nations turning their backs on Israel …that whole region of the world is crying out, for their Messiah. Believers cry; “Come, Lord Yeshua (Jesus), come!”

“I (God) will also gather ALL Nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I (God) will enter into judgment with them there On account of My (God) people, My (God) heritage Israel, whom they (the Nations) have scattered among the Nations; They (the Nations) have also divided up My (God) land.” Joel 3:2. Did you see who is in control here? Now look at this… In a move that should alarm every Bible-believing Christian and supporter of Israel, World Leaders are gathering under the banners of France and Saudi Arabia this 17-20 June to press forward with a plan that threatens the very survival of the Jewish State: the unilateral recognition of a so-called “Palestinian state!” This effort, cloaked in diplomatic jargon and humanitarian rhetoric, is nothing short of a strategic campaign to delegitimize Israel and to embolden terror and dismantle Biblical Prophecy that have stood for millennia. Let's be clear… this conference isn't about “peace.” It's about pressure. It's about punishing Israel for defending itself. And it's about paving the way for a terror state on Israel's borders that would pose a direct and constant threat to the only democracy in the Middle East.

Who is doing this? Western Nations – so-called allies of Israel turning on Israel and are “playing with fire” and against the God of Israel… France, under Macron, and Saudi Arabia - one of the most prolific funders of Palestinian causes …are joining hands to host this dangerous summit in New York! This unholy alliance between Western secularism and Islamic dictatorship is directing the Global community toward recognizing a Palestinian state - regardless of Israel's security, sovereignty, or the reality on the ground. Britain’s new left-leaning government has confirmed active talks with France and Saudi Arabia …to formalize this recognition and went so far as to call Israel's military actions in Gaza "indefensible," while advocating for a European review of economic ties with Israel? Canada, under the newly seated Prime Minister Mark Carney, has joined Britain and France in a joint statement warning Israel of "further concrete actions" if it doesn't halt operations in Gaza and while South African ANC president is still hanging onto his “genocide” ICC/J Case against Israel (supported and paid for by Iran) …even after being called out by US President Trump at the White House in front of the world for his own deceitful actions against his own people who are being murdered daily far more than in Gaza.

On October 7, the world watched in horror as Hamas terrorists slaughtered over 1,200 innocent Israelis: men, women, children, even burning babies in the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. And yet, in Gaza, polls show broad public support not just for Hamas, but for the October 7 attacks themselves. To grant statehood to such a people is NOT just a mistake - it's a SIN against TRUTH, against justice AND against God's Eternal Covenant with Israel. It’s simply a betrayal of the Western Christian Countries who have forgotten their roots of the Bible come from Israel and the Jewish people! We cannot say we are Bible Believing Christians and hate the Lord’s Brethren – the Jews and God’s Land – Israel! That’s a fact! These Nations have lost their moral compass and have traded Biblical truth for geopolitical appeasement and they're dangerously close to finding themselves on the wrong side of God's promises.

Scripture is clear… “I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you.”” - Genesis 12:3. Any Nation that moves to divide the land God gave to Israel, or to empower Israel's enemies, invites judgment. What's perhaps most shocking is NOT the position of hostile Nations …but the betrayal by Israel's traditional allies. The United Kingdom - home to the Balfour Declaration. Canada - a close partner for decades. France - a nation that once vowed "never again" after the Holocaust. All now joining hands to condemn Israel while its citizens still bury the dead from the Hamas pogrom. We must NOT mince words. These developments are NOT just geopolitical …they are Spiritual!

Let us also remember this: Israel is NOT merely a strategic ally …it is the fulfilment of Biblical Prophecy. Israel is the “apple of God's eye” and is a powerful metaphor used to convey God’s intense protection and affection for Israel.!” "For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you (Israel) touches the apple of His eye." - Zechariah 2:8. NO conference, NO declaration, and NO alliance will undo what God has established! To every Judeo-Christian Believer who loves the Word of God, who reveres the Covenants of Scripture, and who cherishes the miracle of modern Israel: do NOT be silent. Do NOT be deceived. Do NOT be afraid. We are watching Prophecy unfold before our eyes. And we must stand firm …for truth, for justice …and for the people of Israel. “For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will NOT remain quiet.” - Isaiah 62:1.

Now compare the growing success of Israel even in times of WAR to the decline of the Western World… Even just over the past decade …or even closer still since 2020 – the West has been struggling to cope with Muslim invasions into their regions. It’s NOT only Jews and Christians that are oppressed by Muslims …BUT even Muslims are persecuted by other Muslims and Islamic Sects. However, look at Europe as an example! As Muslims invade Western Nations, they bring with them ISLAM …and unlike Israel who do NOT lose their Hebrew Biblical identity …sadly the Christian West had gradually begun to lose theirs and today invaded by Islamic nations! Yet, Europe does not see this. However, they so much want Israel to grant the same “open borders” to Muslim Nations …BUT Israel knows it cannot give God’s Land away and MUST always protect it! While Israel shows kindness to foreigners, they were expected to respect and live under the laws of the land.

Open borders are NOT Biblical… God established national borders; “When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples.” - Deuteronomy 32:8. We see the same truth in: Acts 17:26; “And he (God) made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place.” A Nation without borders is NOT a Nation …but chaos; “If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” - Mark 3:25. God condemns lawlessness, and open borders often encourage lawlessness just as we are witnessing in these Last Day Generation; “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work.” - 2 Thessalonians 2:7. Nations serve a distinct purpose in God’s redemptive plan; “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages.”- Revelation 7:9.

Borders protect citizens from harm, which is part of a Nation’s Leader’s God-given responsibility and allows for each Nation’s uniqueness; “For he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.” - Romans 13:4. We don’t let just anyone and everyone into our homes. Why? If we did, our homes would be destroyed, possibly by a criminal element, but most definitely by the fact that our homes couldn’t physically handle a large influx of people! In a similar way, “open borders” kill and destroy the very environment which entices people to come live in a secure country in the first place. The principle of “private property” presumes God’s defensible boundaries (Deuteronomy 19:14).

God sets boundaries for each person and Nation… Borders are to protect the people within them, period! In a godly Nation, God allows their borders to protect them from enemies that want to take the LAND and take the people prisoners. When we are in obedience to God, He uses “borders” as a hedge of protection around the people (nation). When a nation or individual commits sin, God removes “the hedge” (border) of protection, causing the people (Nation) to go into captivity. Therefore, when God allows a Nation’s borders to be overrun, that is His judgment for the sins of that Nation. We see this in action all through the Book of Judges. The Israelites sinned, and God sold them into the hands of their enemies (Judges 2:11-15). If we think we are immune, and this is only for Israel we wrong! Just take a look at Europe, South Africa and other Western Nations – none are exempt! “If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.

The Bible speaks extensively about the importance of community and unity. BUT when a government is consumed about “land grabbing” - it destroys the very fabric of the Nation and its communities …leading to divisions, strife, hatred, murder and dis-unity! The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” – Psalm 9:9. This offers hope that God is “a protector” for those affected by injustice through government greed! Desiring someone else’s land, home, farm or proterty is simply called “covetousness!” “From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands.”- Acts 17:26.

The body of Christ is called to support one another and stand united against injustices and speak up against “land theft”; “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward My people and make an everlasting covenant with them.” – Isaiah 61:8. In the face of “land grabbing,” we can lean into the refuge that God provides! The Global Elites want a borderless world! They want us to believe that this is something positive, helpful, and good for everyone - people coming and going as they please even invading other cultures and rights of people. The idea they are presenting is that borders are bad …and see borders as a roadblock to “global interconnectedness for their Agenda 2030!”

Babel was a Judgment from God against One-World-Government and Globalism; “And the Lord said, ‘Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language… Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.’” Genesis 11:6-7. God divided Nations at Babel to prevent Global tyranny and man’s rebellion. Open-border ideology often leads toward a one-world government, contrary to God’s intention for separate Nations. Finally, the “New Heaven and New Earth” have guarded boundaries. Only those whose names are in the Book of Life can enter; “But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” - Revelation 21:27. Even in God’s perfect Eternal Kingdom, there is restricted access. Only those whose names are written in God’s membership book shows that borders and boundaries are part of God’s righteous order.

Now let’s look again at Israel – God’s Land and God’s people – the Jews…. Why is the whole world so affected and consumed by a tiny piece of LAND and why do they hate the Jews? “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. In that day,” says the LORD, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the LORD of hosts, their God.” – Zechariah 12:2-5.

This Prophecy reassures us of something remarkable - God’s unwavering protection over Israel… Anyone who tries to conquer Israel OR divide Jerusalem - the Word of God assures us that they WILL be shattered! Armies that come against her WILL be thrown into chaos, struck with confusion, madness, and even blindness! With Trump back in the White House as US President and World Leader who has historically stood firmly by Israel’s side, it’s most likely that Jerusalem would find steadfast support again as he continues a stand against those who wish to harm her. But let’s NOT overlook the bigger picture here, especially as revealed in Bible Prophecy! It foresees a time when even the United States, one of Israel’s strongest allies, may ultimately face its own downfall, thus leaving Israel standing without the powerful support it once knew and such a shift brings to light a greater narrative, one that goes beyond Nations and Politics. It’s a reminder that God’s plans stand above all. And through every turn, Israel’s destiny remains guided by a promise that won’t be broken! Israel is God’s Land and His Name is written on the hills of Jerusalem!

What would that all mean? It could be right now with Trump back in office the setting of the stage for End-time Prophecies will unfold sooner than we might think, bringing us ever closer to this predicted "shift" in GLOBAL power… This isn’t just a distant idea …it’s a glimpse of what could be the reality, right on the horizon today. US President Donald Trump’s vision has always been clear: "Make America Great Again," …and he is a man of peace and with that, he’s shown a willingness to step back from the endless cycle of foreign conflicts that have drained America’s resources for decades and rightfully so just as we have seen with South Africa. So, with Trump putting "America first," we’d likely see "a shift" inward, prioritizing domestic interests over Global ones. And definitely NOT – Trump is NOT the Antichrist! We believe that God is using him to fulfil Bible Prophecies just as he did in 2017 when he proclaimed Jerusalem the Eternal Capital of Israel and the only Leader to ever do so and act upon moving the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem!

So, we ask ourselves what on earth then is going on? Prophecy must come to pass, and we are truly the Last Day Generation! Think on this? Why did US President Trump visit Saudi Arabia, speak with Erdogan from Turkey and the new leader of Syria – since they are all against Israel? Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia on 14 May 2025 was on Israel’s 77th Anniversary and announced that he would remove ALL sanctions against Syria after a call to Erdogan in Turkey. Why all the change of heart since this new leadership of Syria are from ISIS and Al Qaeda operatives, having killed Alawites, Druze and Christians? But here’s a thing… While Israel views Germany as an ally, Germany views Israel as the problem! Germany had immediately began working with the NEW Syria government despite ALL the concerns about their extremism and ties with terrorism. Germany has wanted to help Syria rebuild …but America’s sanction made this difficult! Now that Trump is lifting those sanctions, it clears the path for major German investment. ONLY time will soon tell!

The Prophecies in Psalm 83 followed by Ezekiel 38 describes an alliance among several Arab states, including Syria and Saudi Arabia, with Germany and Turkey… While Daniel 11:40-43 shows the Nations that will ally with Iran, the Prophecy in Psalm 83 shows a group of Nations in the Middle East that WILL ally not with Iran but against it …but with "the king of the North," German-led Europe! Daniel says "the king of the South" will push. Iran’s Foreign Policy is already very "pushy" and aggressive towards Israel. These events that took place in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and of Syria and Turkey have most certainly advanced those Prophecies astonishingly!

Turkey was directly responsible for Ahmed al-Sharaa’s (formally ISIS/Al-Qaeda) success in deposing Assad from his Presidency of Syria in December, 2024… However, the Prophecy of Psalm 83 reveals a crucial truth: This alliance is primarily and ultimately concerned NOT with countering Iran BUT with "destroying Israel!" "They have taken crafty counsel against thy people and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance!" - Psalm 83:3-4. Clearly destructive purpose for Israel is stated and which the confederation described in this Prophecy comes together!

However, Saudi Arabia backs Turkish leader Erdogan and facilitated meet-and-greet with Trump… Can you see the connection? Syria, until recently was a bosom ally of Iran is ingratiating itself with other Arab States …and even the West. They are ALL working together in ways unthinkable just months ago. And Germany is eager to join the party. In a normal world, if we read that America just signed its largest defence contract in history (US $ 150 Billion), and that it took place in the Middle East, we would guess it was with the Jewish state BUT sadly, we would be wrong. Remember Trump is still a great friend of Israel and this is good!

Bible Prophecy shows us that China, Russia, India, and other Asian countries WILL unite in the End-times… They are referred to as the Eastern Kings in: Revelation 16:12; "Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared." These countries are known to have the highest population, which would make it possible for them to form an army of 200 million soldiers as we read in: Revelation 9:15-16; "So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them." Today we are seeing Asian, Islamic and African Countries to uniting in BRICS with Russia and China in a move against the United States and Israel’s their closest ally!

With all these in mind, we need to realize that NO matter what anyone says, we must face this… No politician - NOR any other World Leader can bring true "SHALOM" - peace to this broken world!  The reality is, NO administration, NO Political Party, NO policy, or Leader can heal our world’s deepest wounds. ONLY, the true Prince of Peace, as Isaiah calls Him, Jesus Christ, properly known by His Jewish Hebrew Name as Yeshua Mashiach - the Messiah. He alone can bring the lasting SHALOM - peace the world longs for. The whole world today is standing at a crossroad, and the Bible makes it clear that this Globalist power will NOT last forever.  Yet, there’s a hope embedded within this judgment. For anyone who turns to God, there is "SHALOM, Shalom" – perfect peace, there is strength …and there is the promise of a world to come - one ruled NOT by politicians …but by Christ Himself. As the Bible says in: Daniel 7:14; "His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His Kingdom is one that will NEVER be destroyed." So, what should we do? We should be wise enough to know where our real hope lies!

God is the one who controls history and everything in the end will be "His-Story!" America at the beginning of the 20^th Century emerged as a "world power" this Century. Only America had the power and spiritual resources to stand as a barrier between Communism and the people of the world. At the end of World War 2 …America and Britain seemed destined to dominate the world for centuries …as Central European countries devastated and Germany and Japan lay in ruins. The Soviet Union (Russia) had also suffered much from two world wars, revolution and seemed that it would remain forever a non-threatening backward country.

It may have looked like that way back in 1945 …BUT was NOT to stay like that for long! Soon the British started dismantling their Empire as they were “exhausted” after years of war and almost two centuries of playing the role of the international policeman …and in this seemly terminal decline of Britain, America took over. Germany began rebuilding immediately after they lay in war ruins with the help of America and Britain and in 1949 and became the Federal Republic of Germany. The Soviet Union responded by dividing Germany into two which contributed to the “cold war” that separated Germany for more than 40 years. Within a short time, the Western Democracy exchanged one enemy, fascism for communism …and only America could save the world from tyranny and emerged powerful and prosperous enough to take up this role! BUT America could NOT enjoy the World “supremacy” that the British had maintained from the defeat of Napoleon to World War 1 …instead America found itself facing another nuclear power as 1949 brought to light that the Soviets had developed their own “atomic bomb” and 4-years later the “hydrogen bomb.” Thus, a NEW “arms race” had just begun with far more deadly potential than any previous rivalry in history. Before the end of 1949 China, followed by Korea and North Vietnam embraced Communism and to counter this America with world alliances created N.A.T.O. to stop the spread of communism!

Why is this so important? Let’s look back further at history …how the West was WON LOST! In the late 4^th Century, the Western Roman Empire crumbled after nearly a 500-Year run as the world’s greatest superpower. Why? The most popular explanations were the "decline" and "disintegration" of the Roman Empire. One of history’s most legendary Empires came crashing down and 476 AD was cited as the year the Western Empire suffered its deathblow!

At many times the Romans persecuted the Christians for their beliefs which were popular among the poor…. In 313 AD the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great ended all persecution and openly declared toleration for Christianity which later that year became the official religion …and spread to almost every corner of Rome! However, by this time the Romans had considered the emperor as a god, who they considered had power over life and death! Constantine also enacted another change that helped to accelerate the fall of the Roman Empire when in 330 AD he split the Empire into two parts…the Western part centred in the western half in Rome and the Eastern half in Constantinople (Istanbul, Turkey) a city named after him. The Western Empire spoke Latin, and the Eastern Empire spoke Greek. The Eastern half was even more Christian than the Western half …and over time the east thrived whilst the west declined. In fact, when the Western Empire fell, the eastern half continued to exist as the Byzantine Empire for hundreds of years. Today the East is taken over by Islam a pagan religion now also growing at a rapid rate in West!

Life had become cheap, blood shed led to more bloodshed, Christians were murdered with extreme cruelty… and what was valuable or important in life declined and with it came the total disregard for human and animal life. Any conformity to acceptable rules or standards of human behaviour was lost. The decline in morals especially in the rich, upper class, nobility and the emperors …had a devastating impact on the ordinary Romans as immoral and promiscuous sexual affected everyone! Are we not seeing history repeating itself and especially in Western Nations today?

The knowledge that the Barbarians gained from the Roman style of "warfare" and of their "military tactics" by serving the Roman army were eventually turned against the Empire and this led to disadvantage when eventually attacked and Rome fell!  In 476 AD Romulus the last of the Roman Emperors in the West was overthrown by the Germanic leader Odoacer who became the first "barbarian" to rule Rome and the order that the Roman Empire had brought to Western Europe for 1,000 years was NO more! To the Ancient Greeks, what was beautiful was holy …BUT to the Jews, what was holy was beautiful – and these views were bound to clash! Today Jews and Christians are facing persecution, but this too was a warning by our Lord Himself for the Last Days!

We most sincerely believe that God WILL bless you for your faithfulness and love for His land and chosen people. God’s Word is true! He IS watching to see how the Nations are treating His people. God will have mercy on Israel through Gentile believers acting as mediators towards them. This is one of the most amazing revelations ever given to the Church – an opportunity to do something that carries the highest priority in the heart of God. Yet, sadly, so few have seen the potential and the rewards of serving God in this manner - as agents of mercy to Israel and the Jewish people! Israel was and still is despised today and a despised Nation continually turning away from God …BUT nothing ever altered the purpose of God for that Nation. The "despised element" is always a noticeable element in the purpose of God. When the Saviour of the world came, He came of that "despised Nation" (and just like Israel) He Himself was "…despised and rejected by men." And there is that despised element; "…things that are despised God has chosen," - 1 Corinthians 1:28.
